wheel fitment c10

Guys , i have just purchased here in Australia a 70 mod stepside c10..It currently has these massive true wire wheels that hang out of the rear fenders.. My question is - is the 5 stud pattern the same as my 69 camaro?
or am i looking at a specific stud pattern rim to suit a c10?

thanx, Gav

If original pattern, the c10 5 lug is a 5 x 5 bolt circle. Fbody is 5 x 4.75.

^^^^^^^^
Correct, what he said. Original bolt pattern is 5x5. So, no, 69 Camaro wheels will not fit.

C10's are one of my favorite trucks, and I am building an air bagged one right now, with a 383 stroker motor.

Send me an email or PM, I would love to help you out with wheels and tires.

Thanks Jim!

Your truck looks absolutely awesome, and love the way that Schott wheel tucks in that picture. Mod5 is one of my favorite wheels from them.

Stock frame -no problem--mine is stock width--with the inboard bags like mine U can actually fit a 15" wide wheel--tubs a different story--May be possible on your example but I have never checked that to be honest--I like mine LOW so tub has to be moded anyway......let me know if I can help...not an expert but have done lots of these trucks...........jim

67-8 rear is 1 1/2 " shorter than 69-72
67-70 6 lug
71-72 5 lug
71-72 disc up front standard

nice truck too
jim

DriverzInc 03-15-2012 11:07 AM

Jim has got it there for you.

You can run a wide tire on these trucks. Mine for example, although it is an 84, am running a 315/35/20 on a 20x10 wheel with stock tubs and stock frame.
