Photo manipulation exposed: http://content.usatoday.com/communit...photos-shots/1 |
Arg! Im such an idiot. I bought it hook, line, and sinker. The front suspension even still appears to be compressed.
 |
Even my dog looked at that photo, woofed, and cocked his head. Nobody was "fooled" by the photo (at least no car person was...)

Gary Patterson is a great guy... and a real car guy. But yeah -- street tires... and at 900+ hp -- there should be nuttin' but smokin' going on there.
Kool pic though!! |
|
Another big hp late model muscle car runing 12.30s @ 170 mph. Yay! lol I'd fake the shot too! lol
|
Yeah the suspension is a dead giveaway both front and rear. No to mention how level the front end is during launch. I'd expect some twist at least.
|
I Doubt those are the first 2 faked photos ever used by a marketing company.

:_paranoid :_paranoid :_paranoid :D Completely agree. What's concerning is the younger generations perception of reality with all the graphically enhanced images and video they are bombarded with in this digitally enhanced society. |

Ouch Sieg. That's a little below the belt right there... |
LMAO
Ask mcgavin if he photoed that one.. Good come back there!!!! |
Wow, how that made it past the aproval process is way beyond me. The bottom of the tires is a dead give away.
If you're going to 'shop a picture, at least do it properly. |

That's a favorite pic of ResurreXion hammering a corner. |
It's a gorgeous Mustang, but $200,000 ? F that. With those rear tires, I don't see the value in all that extra HP. They're having trouble making use of the 650HP with the standard GT-500 model and now they want to bump it up to 950 and even 1100? Just seems like another opportunity for conspicuous consumption or just a great way to allow drivers to wrap a nice car around a telephone pole. The photo with the front off the ground with the negative camber still in the front tires is too funny.

They drive Fords, enough said.

It would look just a bit more like the suspension actually WORKED.... if it looked like this....

Great! I hope she likes driving it! I think I'm hooked on Formula Speed 2.0 cars...:D Maybe I'll let Gwen take Kelli for a ride around Buttonwillow... then she might finally see what carrying some speed into a corner is like. :unibrow: |
Now that I finally got my '55 back from my parents, I gotta fix the handling.

That's why I carry a big stick, to make up for my lack of driving skill.

Find me a magazine cover that hasn't been photoshopped somehow.... Actually I remember one in HotRod or Car craft a few years back where they walked you through how they photoshopped the pic of this car with all 4 wheels off the ground coming over a rise...
