man that sucks. I was just reading an interview with him in Super Chevy. That guy's done it all on the dragstrip. RIP

I had always heard Dad talk about him. Loved the '66 Chevy II.

Ok what is that intake system in that pic? Does he just have some sort of cover to hide the real intake?

Yes, the intake under those carbs is definitely covered with carboard and duct tape. Gotta keep the secrets.

Dammit! Sad to hear this, I was a big fan of "The Grump" back in the day!!

I just saw him last November at the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals show. He signed a poster for me.
