I remeber how light this intake was when I was at SEMA, its really mind blowing :D GLWS

Rick D 04-10-2012 04:43 AM

Very sexy John, once I had that in my hands it would be hard to let go. GLWS

Greg from Aus 04-10-2012 05:24 AM

I too, will have one in the next week.
Now I am worried they are going to be common.

John510....maaaaan, this is a beautiful piece. I understand spreading the cash somewhere else. I wish I had the cash, but I'm tapped out after buying Michelin Pilot Super Sports. One question though, what are you going to run since you are not going to use the Ozmo intake? GLWS!!

Stock LS3 manifold for now. The money was going towards finishing the assembly of my car (shop is doing it not me)...And with this manifold you CAN NOT run a stock ECM if you want both tb's wired up. You will need to run an aftermarket ECM that sees both tb's(those aren't cheap). If you did have a stock ECM there is a linkage kit that can be bought from Ozmo that runs one electronic and one slave connected by a linkage. There is a video on you tube on how to do this.

I have an actual picture of the manifold I can send to interested parties or you can check my build thread.

If you need to know how to wire the second tb let me know.

By the way, I asked Ozmo if this will handle a twin turbo LS. Here is the response:

We have static tested the manifold above 50psi, and I am confident it can handle up to 30psi on an engine (heat, vibration etc).

I have done flanges before to run twin ID2000 injectors on a 1500HP LS7 style head application - OZMO RS7 manifold.

Jamie Krogdahl
Really nice bit of kit, but it won't work in my scenario.

Best of luck with the sale!

I'd have to rebuild my entire car around this manifold just to be worthy of running it. Not saying I wouldn't do it if I had the money. Hope you get to keep it and use it like you planned as it is such a unique and killer piece of engine hardware---glws anyways!

John, that manifold is a work of art! If I thought I was capable of handling 700ish hp, I would have a hard time not adding this to my car. Fortunately for my bank account I know I could never control the added power I would have. I think you should keep it. I know you want to get your car done as soon as possible, but in the end, in terms of $$ vs time, 4k is only an extra couple of months added to the build, right? And in the end you know that that manifold really ties the car together :unibrow:

Take the GM reliability and sell the intake. :unibrow:

yeah, but if it never broke John wouldn't have any "while I'm at it" opportunities to change out perfectly functioning parts for new cool ones that he doesn't even know he needs yet, like different brakes, a second set of wheels, maybe another engine down the road at some point...

Those are golden opportunities to work until they lower you into the hole.

Tax refunds are great!

greg5436 04-12-2012 01:07 PM

john nice talking to you yesterday but i think i am going to wait on the intake right now. thanks greg

Greg from Aus 04-12-2012 03:37 PM

Keep it John. When I was talking to Jamie, he told me you can go with a full manual throttle if you want to, maybe go that way for now and update later.

I can't wait for mine :)

Wont I need a different ecm and harness or is the dbw something that can be removed in the tune?
