Those are gonna look good on the ground. Make sure to post up pictures of your car when you get tires on those wheels and get it on the ground!

Sorry guys, I've been off building dirtbikes for my son. I haven't had much time working on the car lately but put a few nights on it this weekend. I'm motivated again.....I want to see it on the ground so bad.....here's another shot with tires and kinda at ride height. I think the front will settle a little. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...pshom6pnau.jpg

Thanks for the compliments. I painted this car myself about 19 years ago. Full strip, body and paint. It's held up great considering how much I used to drag race it and how many times I've pulled motors and such. It's really straight and flat. Old Sikkens base and clear. I'm in the process of finishing the floor for a Tremec 6 speed, then I am going to paint the dash and tops of the doors in the matt grey metallic like the wheels. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...psanx5fdci.jpg

:confused59: Yeah... That's wicked. Nice to hear you've been enjoying Dirt Bikes with your son. Who doesn't like Dirt Bikes! Glad to hear you're motivated on the car again. Really looking to the updates and progress!!

Back to the wheels.... In the rear I have a 275/35/20 on there and seem to be fine. I removed the coil spring and bump stop and let it all the way down and the tire doesn't rub but it's close. Should be fine with the bump stop back in. The outer portion of the inner fenderwell has been modified and basically welded to the quarter panel and the rear end was narrowed. It's a mod I did twenty years ago to fit big slicks without cutting the frame. It's held up all these years so I guess it'll work for now
