I seized up.....Again...
Hey folks..
If you are the praying type, pray for me... I ended up in the ER with seizures again...Had it not been for the anti-seizure medicine I am on, I would be dead.. Terrible feeling when you think you are leaving your home, your Wife, your cats, and yes all my Money for the last time... I have been trying to get better to come out and race some of you crazy men, and women( Mary), but I have had a giant set back. I am home now but for how Long ? So send some prayers my way. And remember, it can all change in a second.. Get out and hug your family and enjoy each day. Hopefully you will keep hearing from me...If not....then bad news.. If I do get to come out and autocross someday, you better watch out.. Because I will be racing like it is my last day on earth.. And you don't want to get beat my a rookie with a Bad brain and Heart running an old school LT-1 and a 4 speed...that would suck for you guys... Just remember, that if I get the chance to race, I will be racing for my life..If they even let me race.. so get out and enjoy life... |
Well dang!
I was thinking that you must be taking a slow cruise somewhere. Take your meds and kick back and relax... get your health back. That's job #1. :lateral:  |
You're in my thoughts and prayers. Get well
|
Definitely will keep you in my prayers my man - good to hear that you've stabilized as well.
Keep your head up, stay positive, and focused on getting through this. Life is already short, doesn't need to be any shorter. Again, good to hear you're stable and you're in my prayers! |

And yes Greg, It is pretty crucial to do my own "maintinence"  I may pay someone to build my cars, but not personal maintinence...Yet:wow: Also I am getting a new Neurologist.. I kinda lost faith in my Doctor now. Seeing as I NEVER got a call back ....Days before I called to say something is wrong..No call back.. I end up in the ER....No call back. I call several times..no Call back...My Wife wants to beat the bitch into pink Slime... Next week..New Neurologist for sure.... I need to get better to A. Survive B. Come to an event and get crazy. C. Spend some of this money I spent Decades Saving. D. Enjoy what time is left and not be a veggie.. |
Sorry to hear of your troubles. Stay strong Mike and get well soon.

Mike,
When you feel a little better to travel, I'd recommend going to see a Doc at Rochester MN Mayo Clinic. They are the best in the world. I'm pertty sure Scott G. :lateral: works there and he chime in.God be with you and yours. Travis |
Yo, Yo...I ain't dead yet..
Thanks for the kind words and prayers.. I feel like I have been run over by a Dump Truck, but I am getting better.. I hope to be causing trouble again soon.. Just remember that we are NOT guaranteed tomorrow..I am here to remind you of that.. Enjoy each day like it is your last..I know it is hard to do, but do NOT sweat the small stuff.. Hope to see you at a track or autocross someday... Mike |
Hang in there Mike.. get that new doctor, one that will take care of you.. there is one out there.. good luck and prayers sent.
|
I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong and get some rest. Take care.
|
Thanks ...prayers do work..
I have been resting, and I see the Neurologist Tomorrow.. Thanks to all of you for the kind words...  :lateral: Resting is all I can do right now, but The minute i get better enough to get out, i am taking the Z/28 out for a ride... |
Keep resting up and get better!
Matt |
Done man! Keep your chin up and eyes looking up!
And if you need help getting thru the money...you can live vicariously thru me!!! LOL:unibrow: |
Sadly, I just completed an application for Federal disability.:(
I tried to hold off, hoping I would get better..I waited almost a year after state disability ended, hoping I would not have to do it.. It is kinda an emotional thing having to give in and say that I am disabled.. Just feel like I lost the battle.. But if I ever get to the track, and if they let me race, I will be the one with the Blue Card in the front windshield chasing you guys down..:wow: So if you see the handicapped guy in your rear view mirror, you better not let me pass you... You won't be able to show your face on this website, because the guys on here are brutal..:wow: Imagine being beat by an old , handicapped guy, running an old school LT-1, and a 4 speed..:willy: But I am racing for my Life and not a trophy, so watch out....:lateral:  |
SoCal has your back Bucketlist!!! Prayers sent again!!

Thank you guys.. I will be funny until the end...Or at least I will try to be funny..
It is still rough...I have heart tests this week.. See it started in 2010 with a bad case of Endocarditis,a Heart Infection, that flicked a piece of Vegitation into my brain that seized me up the first time.. So we found a birth defect, a bicuspid Heart valve which pools blood behind the valve, which makes me prone to infection of the heart.. So although I have been to the Brain Doctor, I am going back to the Heart Doctor soon for more tests and pictures...Some day I may need a Pig Valve, I hope not.. So the Brain thing is a side effect from my Heart problems..Yes, Troubled Mind and Heart, haha.. And yes, I do things big....Big brakes, Big Rims, Big House, Big Portfolio. No Big women.. Major Organ Problems, no hang nails or small things for me... So part of my fatigue could be the medication, or Circulation..:wow: So, we will see what the progress on my heart is soon...I know, Heart Problems too ? :willy: :willy: Yes... I am working to get this all straightened out, so I have the strength to first detail my car, and then to be able to come to some events... Then at least Autocross and be able to hang out all day without worry.. My Toter will have the Red Cross painted on it, haha.. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers..Many are way worse than me..They are paralyzed, which i was for 24 hours ,two years ago, and many cannot speak, which I cans still talk smack. So I am lucky.. Also it came at a time in life where I don't have to work, Thank God... Retired 12 years early at 50, but the numbers crunch close enough... So it is quite possible that I could go either way..I may not bounce back, or i may recover enough to be able to do a lot of what I want.. But I will be running my car really, really hard, when I get the chance. It was the first thing on my Bucket List when this happened..i told the wife, the steering, brakes, suspension, and exhaust are dead...I must drive this car before it is too late.. So I went to Steve's and he put the special effort to do it the right way for me..So now, except the interior, it is ready to go.. I hope to see you guys one day...I lost 30 pounds and got pretty skinny/frail, so I am at jocky weight, and i don't care if i blow the Motor.. So watch out...If only i had the reaction times of my twenties, but I make up for it with Big brakes and Close ratio steering.. I will keep you updated...My Heart is the next tests...I really don't want a Pig Valve..But I did find a place at Duke that do non evasive surgery , so they don't crack my chest open..Around here ,they just crack you open...I will pull money outta the Investments. to go to Duke, if I need to.. I know, I know, WTF... But There has to be a Joke in there somewhere.. :lateral:  |

I want my attitude to be an inspiration, and not a downer... Well Done. But where does it go ? Oh no, not there... I let them put a camera down my throat twice to check the back side of my Heart, and the ultra sound the front at the chest wall. But I still haven't had a camera put in my you know where... Which hole ? Don't answer...But thanks for the Joke...We gotta laugh at it, whining does no good , and NOBODY wants to be a round a whiner.. So on with the show... |
