ive actually found some pics of it on the net but cant seem to get any of teh engine bay or any wheels stats.. it looks amazing!! :wow: |
I have a magazine of the car. If I can figure out the scanner I will will scan some pics of it for you. I think it has a kiesler type fuel injection system if I remember. It is a BB car. The interior is killer as well. all try to get those for you today.
That car is incredible. In my hometown of 83 people there is a junk yard with a complete olds 88 rocket 2 door coupe that I am going to buy. The engine/trans is still in the car. Very nice car no rust I could find on the outer panels. Of course I wouldn't build a olds back stock, they are not a bel-air by any means. Andrew |

payton that car is too cool....we just had it here at the shop doing a couple things to it! it sits good and rides even better! |
Here are a few more pics. I took these at Indy Goodguys last year. I talked to the one of the guys that built the car (I think Pittsburgh area?). If I remember right they came from the custom "mini-truck" background? The guy said that for a big car it would move pretty well. I can't remember what engine controller they used? FAST maybe?
Anyway here are my pics for the post. http://www.fileh.com/wiedemab/Olds1.JPG http://www.fileh.com/wiedemab/Olds2.JPG http://www.fileh.com/wiedemab/Olds3.JPG |
I saw the car at Goodguys Hersey and Rhinebeck and spoke to the guys that were with it. Very nice guys and friendly. The wheels are 1 off Billet Specialties I believe. They said the car is suppose to be featured in an up coming issue of Hot Rod and they had pictures on a cell phone of the car doing a nasty burnout. It's not all show and no go! The car is massive - it's a 98 not an 88 and it's a real looker. In September they said there was a sale pending on it.

Awsome cars! |
just saw this car in the background of a recent e-bay listing. I recognized the other cars around it and contacted the owner. it seems as though it will be up for grab at BJ 07' in january..as they say, all cars at NO reserve. I'm going to start selling everything I own now.....
