I don't blame you John. I originally wanted the DE3s and ran into the same problem. I think - not to speak for Forgeline - that the step lip requires a smaller inner and it either loses its look when going smaller or they only designed it in one size and so the larger center size in a flat lip version would only fit in an even larger diameter step lip wheel.

The MD3S is listed in only 19 and up but the MD3P says it's available in an 18" size From the Forgline site. "The MD3P is the ultimate in classic mesh 3-piece design. Each MD3P wheel is built with forged 6061-T6 aluminum centers, 6061-T6 spun rim halves, and stainless steel aircraft-grade ARP fasteners. It features a powder coated or chrome finish with a polished, powder coated, or chromed lip. The MD3P is available in sizes ranging from 18x7.5 to 20x16. And since each wheel is built to order, Forgeline can offer special features like custom offsets and a choice of center finishes." |
When I wrote MD3s I was referring to the step lip. Shoulda put the 'S' in caps. Sorry for the confusion...;)
