Lateral-G decal poll
 

Sorry, had to close the other poll to add the new decal design. We're going to have some decals made. For now, we can only do one style due to the quantity/cost required. Would you prefer it to be a vinyl stick on decal that goes on the outside of a car window, on your tool box or refrigerator, etc? Or would you prefer a static cling type that goes inside a window, and would be able to be moved from vehicle to vehicle if wanted?

Also, is $6 shipped for a decal too much to pay? That's close to the break even point so far with everything considered. We also will be sending one free to all who signed up as supporting members as a small thank-you. :thumbsup:

Size-wise the oval is about 3 X 5" or so.

Place your vote for your favorite. You can answer multiple questions in the same vote, so pick preferred decal, which type (static or stick on vinyl) and price choice.

Rectangular Lat-G logo, $6 is too cheap, and make it a toolbox compatible sticker all the way!

regular sticker -$10 bucks and my vote if for the Lateral G one. :D

Like em both a lot, but I'd get the long rectangular one so it could fit over the top of the rear window. :thumbsup:

IMOHO, I think the rectanular sticker is better for the track car windows While the oval is good for back windows on the tow vehicles, trailers, tool boxes, garage & kitchen cabinets and traffic signs around town. I love em both!! :lateral: :woot:

I just noticed the rectangular version is 6-7" long... what about a wider version to cover some more area on either the top of windshield or rear window?

It'll actually be about 9.5" Any longer and it doesn't fit in a regular envelope. I guess you could use a tube, but then there's even more cost to mail it.

Another vote here for the rectangular one. Readable in traffic, could help to drive some new users/traffic to the site. The oval one is great, but probably would not accomplish that.

I like the rectangular one. It's a clean look. However, the oval one gives you insight to what Lateral-G is about.

Even though for good reasons this site is 'Camaro centric', I think it's best the decal doesn't show one.

So I vote for the rectangular one.

I like the rectangle one, but I think even smaller than 6" would be great to stick from the inside of the window. Probably around 4" would be great.

I like stickers a little more understated and don't like when they are big "look at me" types of things.

these will be normal stickers, stick from the outside of the car. Size is an issue, some want a longer and some want small. Probably start with about a 9" rectangular logo style, and we can go from there.

I like the rectangular style and 9 inches would be cool. When do you think they will actually be done Jody?

A smaller rectangular option in the future would be nice. $6 is fine for singles considering packaging and postage. What would 2 for $10 do to the profit margin? I'd be tempted to buy 2 of each for a $20 bill.

we'd probably do exactly that for extras as there's no additional postage or packaging involved. There's actually three other stickers we could do that we already have artwork for. We'll be adding more in the future unless nobody wants them. :D

I'd like some sort of official looking lat-g wallet badge that I can try to scare off street toughs with. :_paranoid

Jody,I like the second one but without the dark gray box. I think you need to offer more sizes as well as a windshield banner and price them accordingly . Small ones 2 for $10, larger one for $6-7.50,banner $15-20 ?

On one car club site I am on. Once a year the person in charge of stickers posts pics of all the different ones. We then do a group buy of the ones we want and pre pay with the option of paying for shipping now or later (all orders must be with in a time frame that's posted) Once he gets all the $$ the stickers are then made, when finished they are shipped out. Just a thought

I think the poll is speaking pretty loud and clear as to what the masses want and like.

And one thing I am guessing Jody/Scott do not want to do here is create a sticker business that makes this a tedious job for them. :unibrow:

we're going to start with just one sticker. Have a total of four designs done, and of course different sizes will be in the future. Problem is, to get a discount at all you need to be ordering 250-500 at a shot. That's a lot of cash tied up for something that might take years to get rid of.
