For those interested, several of us are planning on staying at the Flamingo on the Strip.

have they released to hotel part of the registration yet?

So the Flamingo is the official hotel this year? If so, I am going to make my reservations. :thumbsup:

I just booked Scott and I at the Flamingo, ....In on Oct 31st, out on Nov. 3rd, 3 nights for 327.00 ($165 Each)....$120 for the first night, $90 for each additional...great deal, especially during SEMA, book early and SAVE! :thumbsup:

"the boys" had been talking Flamingo for a while. I don't really care where we stay as long as we get there!

I'm thinking the Hilton may have wounded some budgets. It is very convenient though.

Just booked a few rooms.... After we get there they are going to have to change the name of the Flamingo to Animal House! :D Can't wait..Going to be a blast! I hear Vegas can get quite entertaining on Halloween! :unibrow:

I'm reserved to be unreserved at the Flamingo. Hey, Use Triple A card and get $39 off. Thats 2 drinks of leisure in Vegas. Or a bologna sandwich. :D

Any word on a Sandlin Shindig? We missed it last year, rolled into town too late...

We are lucky enough to have a friend there with a killer pad, but I noticed someone talking about finding plane tickets. We have been traveling to Vegas for years, and always found tickets to be cheapest 60 day to 45 days out. No earlier, no later. Just passin it along.

We will see yall in the bar. We decided to take a year off, were drinkin instead!

Is the Flamingo a nice place ?

I stayed at the Palms last year and it was great .

It is not even close to the same league as the Palms.My wife and her sister stayed at the palms and loved it.From what I am told the flamingo is a good deal for the dollar.

Since we spend 3 maybe 4 hours a night in the hotel room, I wasn't too concerned with how fancy the fixtures are. As long as it's a clean room I'm happy.

I agree and I might be staying Saturday to Saturday,you can't beat $900.

heck my flight out , back and my rooms at the palms were only $700

For 7 night's?

Scott, can you do a running clock countdown till SEMA on the board, be cool I think. I know I'm sick.

Okay the $900 was for 7 nights.I think its $430 for 4 nights at the flamingo.

Well I am gonna be missing SEMA again this fall. I am going to Italy and Ireland. I would rather go to SEMA, but my fiance is over there for 3 months studying architecture. Ahh maybe 07' lol
