SEMA 2006

It's never too early to start thinking about SEMA.

For those interested, several of us are planning on staying at the Flamingo on the Strip.

Bill Howell 03-08-2006 05:13 PM

So the Flamingo is the official hotel this year? If so, I am going to make my reservations.

Stuart,

"the boys" had been talking Flamingo for a while. I don't really care where we stay as long as we get there!

I'm thinking the Hilton may have wounded some budgets. It is very convenient though.

Just booked a few rooms.... After we get there they are going to have to change the name of the Flamingo to Animal House! :D Can't wait..Going to be a blast! I hear Vegas can get quite entertaining on Halloween! :unibrow:

jonny51 03-23-2006 03:45 PM

Hey can I come too?

Ummgawa 04-05-2006 03:59 PM

I'm reserved to be unreserved at the Flamingo. Hey, Use Triple A card and get $39 off. Thats 2 drinks of leisure in Vegas. Or a bologna sandwich. :D

rwhite692 04-15-2006 06:47 PM

Any word on a Sandlin Shindig? We missed it last year, rolled into town too late...

ProdigyCustoms 04-15-2006 08:42 PM

We are lucky enough to have a friend there with a killer pad, but I noticed someone talking about finding plane tickets. We have been traveling to Vegas for years, and always found tickets to be cheapest 60 day to 45 days out. No earlier, no later. Just passin it along.

We will see yall in the bar. We decided to take a year off, were drinkin instead!

Datsbad 04-16-2006 06:32 PM

Is the Flamingo a nice place ?

I stayed at the Palms last year and it was great .

It is not even close to the same league as the Palms. My wife and her sister stayed at the palms and loved it.From what I am told the flamingo is a good deal for the dollar.

XcYZ 04-16-2006 07:53 PM

Since we spend 3 maybe 4 hours a night in the hotel room, I wasn't too concerned with how fancy the fixtures are. As long as it's a clean room I'm happy.
