I have the NRG hub and like it

I have the street version and its been very durable. Has been on car for 6-7 yrs now using an Ididit column.

This is a great setup. NRG Innovations Quick Release Hub. For me it is big advantage, I sit with the seat almost all of the way back - this hub actualy brought the wheel 3" inches closer to me - it is a very natural reach when holding the wheel. The ultimate anti-theft device. Push that button on top of the hub, pull that black chrome collar forward, towards that button.....

This is a shot from the back of the steering wheel. It is impossible for this to accidently come off ... as you have to depress the button AND slide the collar forward. Those are spring loaded bearings that positively lock into a matching depression on the other half of the hub.....Look in the center below the 2 phillips screw heads, and you can see the 2 little contacts for the horn.

Hey Scott the quick release steering hub does look nice and neat, I really like it. I have got the flamming river column with grant gt steering wheel that's got 5 bolts. I wonder if I can the this kit with 5 bolts and how did you manage to keep the steering wheel straight? Was it difficult to connect the wires for the horn or it was an easy install?

I believe this works with a 5 bolt wheel also, but a call to NRG would be best!!

With proper installation you can keep the wheel straight. Getting the horn installed and the entire installation as a whole was easy. :thumbsup:
