Going under the knife....

All I want for Christmas is to come back alive. LOL :_paranoid

After busting my butt on the GOAT I noticed a sharp pain im my lower stomach. Hernia. Oh, well. Having multiple back and stomach surgery's this should be a piece of cake. I'm going under the knife this Thursday.

I guess the GTO will have to sit at least until April 1st before I can work on the shake down of the car. I will see you guys in a few days.

That sux dude. Next time try using a jack instead of lifting the GOAT by hand.

Hope all goes well

Hang in there Roger. It was still worth it, all the work on the car. Sooner or later you will be completely rebuilt yourself....lol
Your story of comeback, health wise is inspiration so don't let this small setback slow you down.

Good Luck Roger, You will be fine.

BTW, Your car looked great in Detroit, I tried to wait for you to be around your car to introduce myself, but my 5 year old had other plans....they aren't very patient at that age!

Good Luck Roger, you'll be fine. While they are doing the procedure, have them put in one of those high performance gaskets. Hey, you'd do it for your GTO... LOL...

Roger Poirier 03-14-2006 08:58 AM

Guys, I'm going to make it back alive. :faint: Thanks for your concern.

Sorry, I misssed you. I got to know a little bit about you and your Camaro thru a guy that works at GNE Paint in Royal Oak. I was king of spray cans on the GTO project.

zbugger 03-14-2006 01:10 PM

Good luck Roger. You gotta get that goat some paint chips on the front end. Posers have perfect paint, not 20's.

Smack_talker 03-14-2006 01:14 PM

Good Luck and get well soon.
