67 Camaro SS/RS Protouring
I have owned this car since 1976 , ie when I was 15. Yes, my dad financed it for me before I even had a license. I've had the Camaro bug a long time. It took me through high school and college, and was protouring before protouring was cool. I autocrossed it at college in the late 70's and early 80s. Has always been parked indoors, and has been my baby for a long time. I can tell you most anything about it, I was the second owner. Not numbers matching, but has all SS and RS equipment and it all works, headlight doors, console gauges, etc. Has about 10,000 miles since frame off restoration. I thought I would never sell this car, but I already have a 68 SS that has been in the family since new, and am ready for a new project. No trades. Price $33,000 - I might be interested in pulling the drivetrain and replacing with stock for substantial discount. :Tomcat: How much without engine?
|
Sorry for the late responses, but I haven't been around much. My father was in the hospital for a couple of months, and has now passed. With all that going on I am also late getting some pictures out to people who asked. If you are waiting on pictures from me, please send me another email.
Several people have asked through PM's and here about the price without the drivetrain. I really wasn't planning on selling it that way, because the other project I was wanting is no longer available. With no engine, trans, and on a 10bolt 3.55 posi, the price would be $26k. I have someone interested in the whole thing, but they haven't made any commitments, so if you are interested pick up the phone and call. (two five six)655-two nine 0 three I am in north Ala., halfway between Birmingham and Nashville |
