New Guy!!
New here anyways. Been lurking here quite a while and got tired of not being able to see the pictures. I hang out at pro-touring and the hamb, and lurk at corner-carvers as well.
You may have seen my 32 around and we (my wife, Angela, aka the shoe) are bulding a 66 Mustang full of DSE and GMR stuff. We'll see you at the LatG party at SEMA! Thanks! |
Welcome to the best car site on the net Donny! About time you showed up here...:D
|
Awesome!
I think I just saw pics of the '32 at a GG show autocross event in the GG Gazette? Welcome! See you in November! |
Thanks Ron and Greg.
I just realized I screwed up already. My fat fingers forgot to push "o" when I entered my username......should be dontlifttoshift could a mod help me out with that please. FNGs.....at this rate I won't even qualify to be a grenade inspector. |

Now get in here and contribute...post up some pics of the shop, running that hot rod on the AutoX and a pic of that rear housing on the lathe (my personal favorite). |
Nice to see another Street Rod guy on here, The people on this site like looking at them also. Welcome
|
Welcome aboard!!

Welcome to the board. Did not know your a local guy. Saw you tearing up the autocross at Ind, you did pretty good for just having a drop axle.

Welcome!

Thanks guys!! Here are some pics from the last 32 redeux.....
built my own accessory drive from half a VintageAir Frontrunner Rear coilover mounts came out cool. Single shear, I know, but almost all hot rods are set up this way. I can rotate the billet piece to adjust ride hieght up and down and change the angle on the coilovers. 3 link in this hoopty. That giant crossmember is right behind the seat..... The floors were styled after a 34 Ford.....sort of. Yep steel floors, plastic car:rolleyes: Wiring panel getting started. All tied with wax string, I learned from a guy that worked at the power company. If I get on a roll it is actually faster than zip ties. Here is a shot with the other wheels and tires. For this car I really prefer this look......sadly this was the last time these wheels were on. The car is running big brakes now with a GMR floater in the back. Front wheels no longer fit:( That's the short version anyways.....still not finished with it. Got a few things to wrap up this winter and then it's on to the "late model" 66 Mustang. |
Bad ass stuff. What's the powerplant consist of? :unibrow:
|
Simplicity....2011 5.3 takeout that I bought from SLP on ebay as a long block. Eliminate the afm, Mast cam (along with their harness and ecm), LS2 intake and LS3 throttle body and a stock LS3 oil pan.
