Hi Guys. Have you heard of our V8 supercar series here. I believe you get it on speed channel. Having just returned from Mt Panorama Bathurst our biggest event ever, I can highly recommend you check it out. Coming to Austin Texas May 17-19th. 2013.My team Vodafone Holden won of course..Up the mountain you can enjoy true Aussie mayhem..Hope you check it out !!

As opposed to the F1 race that's coming here in a few weeks, I'm very excited about this race coming to Austin! The track is about 10 miles from me. :)

V8 Supercar's Rock!!!! the Best Racing in the world bar-none.Are standing room only ticket's really $1300.00.

Hmm wonder. Bathurst was the best one yet. Will be hard to top but will see how it goes next year with Nissan and the Mercs ...

No !! $150.00 and thats with a pit pass.$1000 VIP but they dont get the atmosphere. Not sure what they charge over there. But glad you enjoy and hope you get to see them.

Bathurst is 1000 kilometres n they thrash these cars the whole way. There was only 0.5 of second between first n second this year

Looks like a bunch of freinds and I are making the 18 hour drive down from Ohio... A good friend of mine moved over from Aussie about 6 years ago and that how I know about the sport.

When will the bathhurst race be on TV.

I recorded it on Speed last night...

How good was the last lap of Bathurst!!!! Watched it last night.......sorry fans but they make NASCAR look like pedal car competition. Aussie SupercCars are the real deal. :thumbsup:

I was there..goosebumps !!! still holds the record for fastest shootout lap. :hail:

I'm seriously thinking about coming across for this event

Watched the race (DVR'd) last night. Awesome. Seeing the windshield banners got me thinking I want one for my car. I was thinking "FORD" or even "GRABBER" and just about the time I thought "I wonder how 'MAVERICK' would look" I spotted this

The abreaviated race was on speed last weekend very cool cars will be interesting with the new brands next year

You wont need to go to any other events. Bathurst starts Wednesday with the camping and partys its full on and Monday after you drive your own car on the track when they open the road to the public you will be knackered.trust me.only thing that spoils that is the speed camera at the bottom of conrod straight. bugger!!!

monarogirl, I was thinking of traveling from Australia to see the Texas round. I was wondering if any other car events might be on in Texas around that time.
Texas is one area in the States I haven't really visited so I'm sure there will be plenty to do if not.

Ticket prices are cheap! Camping is cheaper! try www.rvnightly.com as it's directly across from the track. mega tailgate party from start to finish like at F1. Hot showers but who's gonna shower?? park at your site and tons of firewood!
