New 69 camaro build Project " Shaded white"
 

Whats up guys, been a member of this site for right at a year and have been working on the car since then. Ive owned this car for about 10 years now since I was 15 it was a birthday gift from my dad I had to pay a little money on but it was a 69 camaro so no complaints. It has an lsx built LS3, stage 5 t-56 6 speed, ram clutch, TCI full front subframe, TCI rear 4 link, 19x12 & 19x8 Billet specialties spline wheels, moser 12 bolt rearend with 3.73 gears and a detroit true trac. Ididit column, billlet specialties steering wheel, clayton performance pedals, Auto Meter gauges, Ricks Stainless tank, PRC aluminum radiator, etc. This is my first build and pretty excited its getting close to completion. This was done off of straight research and pictures from other builds, I didnt have much pro-touring knowledge until I became a member of this site so thanks for that. The Color will be 2012 corvette white when completed with either a black or blue stripe of some sort. My builder is a drag race guy who has done a bunch of work for me and went the extra mile in replacing metal, suspension, etc for the price he charged me, has been truly a blessing trying to get the car built. Well check it out and see what you guys think and if any pointers ill take them all.. I will also get some more pictures up when I get a chance and my pictures will download. Thanks guys

The pink escalade is my little girls ride. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 7 month old. It has a real working stereo, she rocks out to it, cleans it, etc lol. Wasnt paying attention when uploading the photos.

Heres some of the car getting the quarters replaced and some with the suspension completed and in its rolling state. These are small kb photos that I can get loaded, havent figured out the bigger MB photos yet, photobucket is not letting me crop them really. Sooner or later they will be coming but this gives an idea of where its at right now. Currently its getting wired and will then get painted afterwards :D

It's a street and performance setup on the front. I got lucky and picked it up used from mike at musclerodz. And the 250 is an 88 model with a 350pv cylinder that makes 54 hp. I use to go a lot, not as much anymore, don't have time with my job and kids now! Thanks guys, trying to upload more pics still for you guys to check out and see what thoughts are. Also if anyone has some willwood calipers and maybe 13" rotors I'm looking to upgrade the front brakes! I'm not sure what spindle I have.

You'll needs rotors/hubs from a typical MII kit but the caliper bracket is proprietary by TCI for their Custom spindle.

Engine is fully plumbed now, wiring and all. This picture is not completely up to date. Im pulling it back out today, will hopefully have it back in tomorrow. Something in my tansmission is hitting my fingers on my clutch?? Not sure what the deal is, and bought a moroso oil pan I have to fit on for ground clearance and have to mount a remote oil filter now! :mad:

Finally after almost 2 years I get to update my thread. Paint is almost completed, car runs, seats have been dropped off, hopefully by spring goodguys Ill be driving this thing. Luckily I have had some good friends help me with this and keep me under budget. My project name was very bland and now doesnt fit the car as i was so undecisive over what I actually wanted to do on paint. Black shows the beauty and time spent on any car, and not many will like the color combination so I chose something different, hope you guys like it. 14" brakes are coming from mike at MuscleRodz and im thankful I met him as I have received a bunch of good parts and great prices.
