G90 1967 Camaro RS

Sacramento was another great showing for us, we ended up with 3 more awards. First Place in Pro-Touring, Best Street/Comp and Outstanding Display.
Next up is the Boise Roadster Show March 7th-10th, and then right here at home in the Portland Roadster Show March 15th-17th, We have met alot of great people and serious gear heads. One of them was a young guy who is enrolled at Wyotech, he took some great shots of the car and i thought i would share.

Thank you everyone, we look forward to meeting more people this year as we are making arrangements to get the car back east and to the mid west for some of the summer events.. for those of you that we have met in Pomona and Sac it was nice to finally put a face with a screen name and check out your builds as well. There are some really great rides getting the final touches on them just in time for summer..

Rybar 02-21-2013 04:06 PM

Congrats man, that car looks unreal. Very well done.

Overwhelmed by the success the past few months have brought us and we are looking forward to the Portland show coming up this weekend.
We showed the car on the ground during the show on Sunday as it takes on an entire different perspective, it allows everyone to really see the car at its best angle.

I was actually hoping to have the car done by then and take it there, either way, I've never been and am probably going there this year.

468Camaro 03-12-2013 06:35 AM

it was nice to meet more great people right here at home as well as see some really nice up and coming builds that will be hitting the scene probably this summer. so much talent in the NW its unbelievable.

Looks like were going to Lafayette for the Street Machine Comp finals, we placed Best of Class, Outstanding Street Machine, and Outstanding interior Street Machine, we have acquired enough points to be eligible for the invitation.
Here is a quick video that was shot during the Portland Roadster Show this past weekend, scroll to the 2:08 mark or better yet view the entire 3 min video for some sweet footage of the show

Scott, what can I say, your car is in a class all by itself....so outstanding...makes me want to start all over again with Darkside.

sds machining 03-19-2013 01:14 PM

Jack,
Thank you for the compliments, it was nice to meet you in Pomona and wish the best for you in the future, your car was flawless and extremely well put together, bottom like is how much time and money does a guy want to put in, its gets to a point where these cars become so nice you hate to drive them and in my opinion they then become never ending work and a guy cant enjoy it. We plan on driving the wheels of this car and i hope you do as well and possibly we will meet up at a good guys event this summer and go for a nice cruise, you will have to wait for me every 100 miles to fill up however..

I love Sonoma,, been to 3 cup races and we got to do hot laps in a TRD Camry, some of the best times I ever had from the passenger seat that is for sure. (especially getting into turn 7 nascar layout) I wish i could make that date because i would take you up on that offer...

I drive past there twice a day commuting from Napa to Novato. I think I need to take a mental health day next Friday :hairpullout:
