Need a stock set of ls6 243 heads.... Not aftermarket... Bare or assembled

Still looking.... Looking for ls6 intake too

Have a buddy with a low mileage set complete with rocker arms, how soon do you need them?

Sooner the better... Don't really need rocker arms or springs but....

I think he is looking for $550 complete with everything. They have 25k miles on them. Let me know if your interested, or feel free to shoot me an offer

Going rate seems to be hovering in the $350 range

Thats dirt cheap, ESP for a low mileage set with rockers. They sell on ls1tech all day for 400-450 without rocker arms. Good luck finding a low mileage set for that kind of money your going to be looking for awhile

yeah probably more like $400 on average....I've been cruising all the main LS1 sites.....but I dont need the rockers, so that isnt a "plus" for me on your friends set..

I've found plenty.... On LS1 tech, eBay, corvette forums etc

Just haven't found the "right" ones.... High price, extra parts I don't need, damage, don't trust the seller etc have stopped me so far

They are out there, but pretty popular so it's a matter of timing...

Maybe you guys are confusing bare or assembled head prices/condition etc.

I the LS6 versions with the sodium valves are little pricier.

From all my searching the 799 are the same as the 243..... Cast at different factories.... Except the valves... Not all 243 came on the corvettes

My engine builder wants me to avoid the 799's ... I guess there have been more issues with cracks and leaks ... So as per his request I'm searching for 243's
