I want a chevelle..

Kinda got the hots for a '70-'72 Chevelle. Black white stripes or silver black stripes.. Auto is fine, just nice paint & body. I really want to put some 20" TT2's on it, slam it and cruise it.. If anyone runs across something like this, please let me know..:D

Steve1968LS2 03-11-2013 09:14 PM

Sure you wouldn't want a Prowler Orange '68 Camaro??? :)

It misses your garage! lol

headcase 03-11-2013 10:21 PM

Black Chevelle 1970 for sure.

I wouldnt put the stripes on it though. Takes away from its badass look.

Unless the seller is leaving something out, $18k is too much. Just my opinion though. For $18k, he needs to at least freshen up that interior and include some disc brakes, etc. A newly, rebuilt 468 alone doesn't warrant $18k. Not being super critical, but I just think when a car begins nearing $20k, it shouldn't need too much. Although I understand that's only his asking price and he may be willing to deal down to $15.5 or $16k.

Thanks but I do not want a project, just a nicely done car that I can throw some wheels on, lower it and cruise..

I might be able to get one last dash made for you if you wanted one like the 70 we are throwing together.

This is the car, not sure if this is slammed enough for you.

We have 4.5" of ground clearance at this height.

I will ask around. I know a few guys with Chevelles.

simple brake, wheels and 5 speed upgrade. It has a 454 in it

ALLFAITH 03-12-2013 01:49 PM

Those last two are nasty, but propably too much ground clearance for SW!!. I will keep my eyes open up here, you still need to find me a car to replace the TA.

That is the ride. Youthpastor, I would really like to see the specs on this one. Ever since I saw you post that, I have been thinking about mine looking just like that.

Working on gorgeous one right now...

http://www.revvedautoconcepts.com/chevelle%20page.html

Forgive the lack of pics... just launched the new website this week and this was one of the first project pages they built while we were figuring out the new format... I'll be adding more pics to that project page here in a week or so including the completed pics of the new interior.

It was a "Body Shop Build"... Paint and body is gorgeous... everything mechanical was hacked. I've rebuilt just about the entire car. Coming home from the trim shop next week for final assembly.

Streetking 04-12-2013 10:59 AM

Got one!

So through a buddy of mine, I picked up a really nice '67. I originally wanted a '70-'71 but after seeing this one, I had to have it. My buddy has known this car since it was getting restored. He assured me it was straight and it's is. Very happy with my puchase. It has a nice 427ci motor, 4speed. Vintage air/heat and everything is new. All original body panels. It had some 17's on it but I changed the wheels to 18" Vintage Wheel Works and front spoiler. 18x9.5 front& rear. My plans are to put a 5speed in it, Baer 4 wheel discs, shorty headers& full stainless exhaust and drive it!

Here are a few quick pics I took at my office this am!
