"Midwest Patina" F100 Shop Truck
 

The Official Shop Truck of Sussex Rod & Custom is about to begin here in the next few weeks. As many of you know we are currently working on a 55 Ford Customline and when there is down time on that we will be working on the shop truck.

1965 F100
Plans so far:
-Crown Vic Front Clip
-Ride Tech Coilovers
-Triangulated 4 Bar Rear
-4.6 Dohc Mod Motor
- 6 Speed

Current State: Plan to keep the same paint and change the door art to our logo that we are designing.

Been Crazy busy Ron. No time to much of anything with work. I should be able to keep after this thread. The 55 is coming along nicely but saving those pics for the big debut in spring :stirthepot:

Nothing too crazy but forgot to mention there will be a power adder of some sort on the motor :thumbsup:

The modular mustang racing oil came in earlier this week along with canton full length windage tray and just picked up the crown Vic front clip while I was on my way to the GoodGuys show in Indy!

I cut the braces out from when Installed the CV cross member and welded in a tube up front to tie the frame together since there were no other cross members to keep the frame from twisting. I am very happy with the install and will finish welding everything in after being sent to the sand blaster.

Picked up some cheap weld draglites for mock up. Plan to use some of weld racings new wheels when its ready to go down the road.

Plans for this truck have changed a little..... I have decided that instead of going towards the pro touring style I am going to turn it into a drag truck that I can compete in Hot Rod Drag Week with. My good friend will be doing the cage in the next few months. This thread can be move to the drag racing section now if needed. I promise to keep up with the updates! Some have pm'd asking if we are still working on the 55 and the answer is yes! It is coming along very nicely by the guy who is doing the body work. chassis will be sent out to be coated soon and the body is almost in primer
