Poll regarding new Lateral-G t-shirts

2 Attachment(s)
We have Tony at https://lateral-g.net/_banners/macink-100.jpg making our white and grey t-shirts, available through the store link above. I have been asked about black t-shirts which we have had in the past. The process to have these done is more labor intensive as you need to do extra steps when printing on a black shirt. Therefore the cost is higher.

I had a company do one for me, and I've worked out a deal if I order at least 50 at a time. My only complaint is the the colors are a bit darker than I'd like, but otherwise the shirt looks great. It's printed on a Gildan Ultra Cotton shirt, several steps up from the cheapies. I believe it's the same shirt that Tony is using for our white and grey ones. I've included a pic of the one I received below. The larger Camaro pic is on the back, and the smaller Lat-G logo is on the front over the left breast.

My question is, at a cost of probably $23/shipped is this a price that's feasible? Also, if this is something that you may purchase, can you list your t-shirt size to help me make an initial order if we decide to do this.

1 XL, 1 med please...in blk

southsidehacker 09-10-2013 11:26 AM

My initial gut reaction is 23.00 is a bit high....If I am at a car show 20.00 bucks for a shirt is my limit....but since shipping is included 23 is fair and it is in support of a great site! Any thoughts on kid sizes?

Flash68 09-10-2013 11:58 AM

Looks great. Black is the new pink. :sieg:

Large for me. These shirts do run a tad on the large size based on the gray one I have.

I can mix and match sizes. I just made the poll for the most common adult sizes.

Jody - Ship them to me and I'll sew a feather boa on the hem of one........that way he can at least dust the floors while he's pacing around waiting for daylight.

Lenie 09-10-2013 06:23 PM

One large black shirt and I'll order a white large thru your store page now.

bigkarz 09-10-2013 07:20 PM

rickpaw 09-11-2013 06:27 AM

Price seems fair. I'll take one XL.

jonna 09-11-2013 09:54 AM

Voted! Do you have women fit sizes too?

I think I can mix and match pretty much anything. But if I'm going to order kids sizes, womens sizes, 4XL's, etc. that wouldn't be the popular sellers I'll need a commitment to buy them. Probably need a deposit, I'll figure it out before I make an order.

Turnaround is about 2 weeks to me, and then maybe 2-3 days from me to you. But I have to order them in lots of at least 50 to get that pricing, it's a lot more expensive to go lower quantities. I ordered a single shirt just to check quality, and that was nearly $40 my cost. Most all these companies prefer to do quantities once they're set up to make a run; small amounts are a pain to do.

Count me in for a 2XL. I need a new shirt.

I will probably do a run with the same Lateral-G logo that's on the front and a larger version on the back, or possibly blank on the back. For now the most popular shirt has always been the red Camaro.

Kinda like 8 out of 10 builds on here.

Not every Bowtie build is a Camaro, and I even saw somebody building a Mopar on here  Thanks for thinking about the other two out of ten of us.:D

efs69 09-13-2013 12:44 PM

I'd take a large in black.

GregWeld 09-13-2013 12:53 PM

I'm just certain the FE forum owner/admin is putting the time and effort into getting shirts done with little to no profit to show for it. Feel free to represent them if it's more up your alley. :action-smiley-027:

How much would people pay for a blue t-shirt depicting a motorless Torino on a trailer? :sieg:

I was waiting for your burnt First Gen shirt. I'd buy one of those.

I think I will start on some artwork for the Jackstand army shirts. Those would be the most appropriate shirt for many of us.

1 Large for me and price is good.

It shows 7 people think its too expensive yet they are on this site building pro touring cars. LOL

Twoblackmarks... 09-20-2013 05:22 PM

I can take 2 pieces of XL shirts, as long as you can ship to Norway, if you can, I would probably add more, I have not yet checked the store here though.. So I do not know what to add if you ship yet :P

I should have my first batch in 2 weeks. Didn't really want to take an money until I have them in hand. This first order is just large, XL, and 2XL. The next order should be right after that, and that one I'll set it up for those that have more unique sizes, kids and womens shirts, etc.

Tomswheels 09-20-2013 09:10 PM

Prices and sizes are fine, just wish there were more even more base colors to choose from (Blue, Red, Green)?
