Thank you. They are from a 2004 BMW Mtech Cab.

Very cool!

x2 on the center exhaust. That was a good idea to help complete the tie in with the C5 chassis components.

This really is a great looking car. Any plans to paint it a different color eventually or will you leave it matte black?

Not in the near future.. And it is actually Cyber grey, with a flat clear coat..

Rick D 11-01-2014 07:31 AM

WOW I don't know how I missed this back when you first posted it but very cool!! What are your thoughts of the car compared to a Vett? Also did you have shorten up the rear track width or is it factory width?

As stated already would love to see more of the build pictures?? :hello:

Ah. I can see that now. It's amazing how color changes between different monitors. Thanks for the correction.

Thanks.
I had a cz06 a few years ago. Engine wise its about the same, its a little weaker down low, but more of a race car feel. The F-body will never as stiff and rigid as a vett. Both due to how the subframe is attached to the chassis and the chassis itself.

The trackwith is about the same as a camaro and about 9cm narrower than a vett. So i have shorter axles.

There is alot of pictures in this album.

Yukio,
Nice Camaro. It looks like it would be a fun ride. What does the car weigh?

Wow I like the subframe mod. Do you lower the rails or they just narrowed?

Hi, they are narrowed and in almost the same hight as the stock ones. The mounts for the A-arms were adjusted to give me roughly the right hight.

After last year, i figured out that my brakes was not holding up. So during the winter i got a good deal on some used Ap Racing calipers. Due to the larger size of the new brakes i had to go with bigger wheels aswell. I ended up with TSW Interlagos in 10,5x18. Now i am running 295/30/18 on all corners.

Here is a photo of my dads 65 Coupe. Hopefully i will be able to start a build thread on it when we start working on it. Now it is mostly stock.

Nice wheel and brake upgrade! I'd love to see your dad's car be built up. Be sure to start a thread when you start building.
