Seattle Seahawks

Best team in NFL! :gitrdun:

Shmoov69 09-22-2013 10:12 PM

Who? LOL!! :poke:

GregWeld 09-25-2013 07:13 PM

Really?? I thought it was the Vikings....

How are ya buddy???

Rick D 09-25-2013 07:29 PM

Yup and that usually means that they get beat in the first round of the playoffs!!! :poke: :smiley_smack: :lostmarbles:

I'd rather be the lucky team going into week 12 or 13 then the best team in week 4!!!! Just sayin

69cortezsilver 09-27-2013 09:57 AM

There is a pretty good chance HAWKS go undefeated on way to our 1st super bowl victory this year, do not see much standing in the way...for those of you who say Denver, did you miss the preseason? we shut down manning/1st team! GO HAWKS!

NorCal72 09-27-2013 11:16 AM

You wont beat the Niners at home. Im not a Niner fan either. :snapout: Harvin and Lynch will have to be healthy and Kap or Gore will have to be hurt. Otherwise the Seachickens will go down.:bigun2:

Always amazes me the fans that show there head once the team has success. They look stong but fat lady aint even got a microphone yet. Remember 90% of teams, including the seachicks and winers are one qb injury from being in the cellar.

There is bandwagon fans for every team. Everyone thinks Seattle has the most bandwagon fans since more attention is focused on the hawks. Seattle has always had a huge fan base you just didn't see it until recently. When Seattle was in the afc west they still filled the dome. The fact is there isn't a offense in the league that can deal with that stingy defense. Wilson is still dusting off the rust, and Seattle hadn't even had a healthy team yet. When December comes around most forget that harvin will be back. Irvin's back next week too. San Fran won by 6pts at candlestick last year. Seattle never got beat by more the a td all last year reg season.

Rick D 09-28-2013 12:56 PM

Guys I don't think anyone is discounting the Seahawks, they are a very good team, but again it don't mean nothing in January if you loss by one TD or ten TDs!! A loss is a loss and if you look at the last 20+ years the number one seeds lose more then win!! Not bashing it's just facts!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again

"IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE LUCKY THEN GOOD COME JANUARY IN THE NFL"!!

And I'm a season ticket holder for the Bears, remember last year 7-1 to start the season finished 10-6 and didn't make the playoffs.

Every team is one or two injuries away from a great season going to a very bad season!!!

man! you calling me a bandwagon fan? been a fan well before hawks joined NFC WEST! come on what makes you think 49ers will beat us at there home? we have outscored them 71-16 last two meetings...that is down right pathetic! nothing will be different in december..as far as your bears.....you have beat 2 teams that are winless...:twak:

Well I'm glad you can read an entire post before you respond!! :ohsnap:

Oh and the combined winning total for the teams the Seahawks have beaten is 2 so take it easy there!!

Not calling anyone anything. Im not a niner fan if u want to know. I hope your team kicks butt, just boasting about superbowl and undefeated is a little pre mature since its only been three weeks. Its all in fun, its just football, not like it matters in life.

Stuart Adams 09-29-2013 04:12 PM

Great comeback win.

69cortezsilver 09-29-2013 05:17 PM

Cool story Stuart! Read this....Seahawks kick ass! No quit in this team...4-0
:trophy-1302:

69cortezsilver 09-29-2013 05:20 PM

Btw Stuart if you missed preseason Tavaris Jackson played like a G...if something was to happen to Wilson..who in reality hasn't played very well I think we would be ok! Especially with leagues best defense! :headspin:

Rick D 09-29-2013 06:35 PM

Very impressive come from behind win!!! I guess we'll see how the rest of the season goes. Still lots of football to be played.

Wilson showed some major balls, I'll give you that. HOWEVER, a undefeated super bowl winning team can usually convert at least 1 3rd down conversion in 3 quarters. A win is a win but you guys have a loooooong way to go.

Well JJ WATT is an animal! And we were playing without 3 starting offensive lineman, the replacements were absolute garbage..we will be fine! Get Bruce Irvin back this week and Percy harvin in a few! Only getting better boys :bigun2:

kmdracer 09-30-2013 08:01 PM

As a Texans (sigh) fan, the Hawks did a great job hanging in and winning the game. The Hawks D pretty much shut Texans O down in the 2nd half. I'd have to start a different thread to explain all the dislike I have for Kubiak and Schaub.

Shmoov69 09-30-2013 09:46 PM

All that I have to say is the previous history of CHOKE!! Good team for sure, prolly the 2nd best in the league, but prone to choke in the playoffs.
I've always been a KC fan, so I know choke when I see it!! LoL!!:animated_bye_bye_em

DRJDVM's '69 10-01-2013 01:20 AM

Cracks me up when people start talking about going undefeated in the 4th week of the season....

Key injuries can derail any SB contending team..... It's way too early to be handing out the Lombardi trophy

Boostable 10-01-2013 07:51 AM

Going undefeated is just hot air at this point, heck as a Dolphin fan I was ecstatic to get to 3-0!

Stuart Adams 10-01-2013 09:03 AM

The best team record wise for the last many years does not win the Super Bowl.

Almost never win!!! :underchair:

garickman 10-01-2013 09:45 AM

Funny how some people forget about the 2007 Patriots at 16-0 only to lose the Super Bowl. The best team in the NFL can't be determined until the final seconds tick off the Super Bowl game clock. Like Ricky Bobby's daddy would say "if you ain't first, you're last!"

Winning the SB is about being "hot" at the right time... Not kicking everyone's ass in the regular season... especially not the first 7-10 games of the regular season

Ask the giants, packers, and ravens...barely squeaked into playoffs and won SB...

The odds are ALOT better of starting out 4-0 making the playoffs, then 0-4, and even starting 0-3 i think its happened 3 times? just saying ITS SEATTLES TIME! And, id imagine any team will be playing a lot better later in season with reps, and becoming familiar with playbooks/timing

Cracks me up too. You just knew it was coming..

Rick D 10-06-2013 06:33 PM

Yup Ron they got beat!! It's funny, if they won today I'm sure he would have been here to talk about it

Again they are a good team but let's finish the season before we crown them NFC champs!

Shmoov69 10-06-2013 08:48 PM

Gave it away didn't they!

Seriously tho, Romo with 500+ yards and LOST!! Crazy game there!

Yeah right, a bad decision at the end of the game and all everyone will talk about is how he throws interceptions not that he threw for 500 yards!!

GregWeld 10-07-2013 06:53 AM

The Seahawks game had horrible officiating.... reminded me of the NFL temps they had -- except that in this game it all was one way.

Stuart Adams 10-07-2013 09:51 AM

Seattle, Green Bay, San Fran, New Orleans, are the best bet to win the NFC if QBs stay healthy. Should be a blood bath down the stretch.

I agree the officials in all games do an average job at best.

dropped72ss 10-07-2013 01:21 PM

OFFICIATING WAS HORRIBLE! seattle outplayed colts, no doubt about it! We get titans next week, and then 5-1, INDY had help, and needed it regardless were still are top 2 team in NFL, and really, what defense has Broncos played to be challenged?:lostmarbles:

Stuart Adams 10-07-2013 03:19 PM

Sure funny to read posts from fans. Perspective and reality are absent. " Its our time, we get no calls, undefeated, we are owed something." Be careful if you want those things factored in. Pete Carroll didn't exactly leave USC under morally correct standards. The football gods have ways of getting even.
