Goodguys Texas Road Trip Pics 2013

Hey all, here are some pics from the road trip as viewed by me, mike the glassman. Had a great time and finally got to see part of the country via automobile. We went from Pleasanton CA to Bakersfield CA to Lake Havasu AZ to Globe AZ to Albuquerque NMX to Amarillo TX to Fort Worth TX to Texas Motor Speedway. About 2085 miles. Typically 300 to 400 miles per day, along the way we saw about 8 private collections (i haven't loaded any of those photos out of respect to the owners of these collections as i dont know the protocal concerning privacy).
Enjoy,

George is one of the most generous people on the planet, picked up the tab for like 60 people at Buck Owens Crystal Palace (the liquid tab), btw when Roger's wife was about to pop....

Does anybody have any information on the Patina Green Valiant? Keith Charvonia, from Airaid FC (filter company, not football club, lol) made a writeup for Speedhunters about a stop you guys made in your roadtrip, and that exact same Valiant caught his attention, anyway, here's the article he wrote, a pretty fun read if you ask me.

who says LS engines aren't pretty? Is a carbureted SBC with all those extra linkages, and heat riser tubes and bulky distributor prettier? I know I know.. I'm biased.

anyway. While we're talking about articles, thought I'd toss a spanking new package on y'alls doorsteps:ups: check this out: http://www.cjsgarage.net/blog/projec...comes-to-life/

thought you all might like to see some extra shots we took. Besides, this way Mike can download them onto his computer. I know I probably haven't sent him every one I took yet :ohsnap:
