Putting that Indy engine in there makes the car IMO. |

Anything Strope builds is bad a$$ in my book.

Engine/exhaust noise> builder/owner/tester etc. talking 'noise'. Very few car vid makers get that. |
Badass! Finally Petrolicious doing some muscle. :flag2:
|
I've seen that car three times. As Strope said, something new to see each time.
Our resident Ford historian will tell you all about that intake; it's a really nice piece! |

Strope has always built different stuff than most and I mean that in a good way! Always understated, but once really get into the details you leave scratching your head!
|
The car was at SEMA last year -- and I must have gone back to look it over 8 times... And just as Steve stated - each time I looked I said "WOW".
|
Hold Please
I am uploading about 53 pics of the car from Sema. ps It was also my favorite car to take pictures of at Sema as the carpet was really soft and I was able to take a nap under the car. Not sure of I was tired from all of the walking or I had just left the hospital in Chicago 6 hour earlier for my last IV chemo treatment. Pictures will be here shortly http://garagescene.net/gallery3/inde...-Sema?page=27# |
really enjoyed this video.
thanks for sharing. the motor really is a nice touch and adds to the ambiance of the vehicle much like most of the other parts. |

Great photos Marty, thank you!
That car is awesome. Love the simplicity, yet effectiveness. Killer! |

Best pics I've seen of this car. Those photogs over 6'5" can't touch your work Marty. :unibrow: :D |
Great video and good pictures. Thanks for sharing guys.
I really like Strope's builds. I also think he's got a great name for a company. I'd love to have the money to build something with a vintage engine like that because it really does make such a difference in the build. |

Awesome car! Steve is a cool guy for sure, he has tried to tell multiple times that "clean and detailed" will go almost as far as "extreme and wild". Not that I listened, because my junk is neither!! LoL! Also, bitched at me constantly about beating on my car! DOOH!! :innocent: He has helped me in the past with contacts and basically an all around nice guy.
But I can tell you that he don't like thunderstorms in the Midwest tho! He was panicking when some were rolling thru when he stayed with us a few years back! But then again, I would be panicking if the ground started to move here! LoL! :underchair: |
Extremely awesom Mustang.
As an european, I've always liked mr. Stropes way of building Euro-style american cars. |
Another awesome Strope build. I realize the wheels fit the theme, but four spoke wheels aren't for me. I love the color combo though and the interior is fantastic.

Nice Pictures, and it`s a cool car :) Looks very clean, and I believe those who say that you can explore it an find New cool details all the time.
But to be honest and going out on a limb here, even though it looks super high-end build, it has a somewhat boring look, it is almost "too clean" if that explains it. Not an risk taking look. The Martini Paint is better on an old racing Lancia or Porsche where it is not so toned Down in comparison, but maybe that is becuse I am European and have an other view of it maybe, and seen it more often? BUT I have not seen it in person, and there is many Things I like, just so that is said, like for example the Tires are square and Perfect looking, but it was the engine that really got my attention :D |
I understand what you are saying. The car is so simple looking but it was the planning that made it look so simple. There are so many details when you are standing in front of it that it's impossible to see all of them.
One of my favorites was the fuel lines running inside the rear quarter. Great idea with great execution. The detail on the core support was the same. So many little details with wires, screens and hole placement that you kept saying that's not stock. My only problem with the car is I would be afraid to drive it because it's to darn nice. Quote:

I Guess that`s the problem With overly Nice cars and numbers matching and so on, you cant use it without fearing for it, an original car is maybe more "unusable" I Guess, since you cant do anything to it or With it without killing it`s value. A too Nice one, if I had the Money I would use it hard, but not "abuse" it, well.. I cant even abuse a junker, so maybe I would have gone paranoid With such a Nice car.. He..He.. :D |
Awesome ride ! Thanks for posting I enjoyed it.
