Well Here is some pics after the hard work for acouple weeks. We mounted the rack, the varishocks, the power steering pump, got the tonneu cover goin, and few other items. Time for the sheetmetal work and to build a set of headers. The chassis looks awesome. Tell me what you think.

Actually it's the drivetrain that i am most impressed by. I can't wait to see how it all works together. I've thouht about doing a c5 / c4 chassis under my next project.

ironworks 05-01-2006 12:18 PM

Syborg, I know I have seen it before but I was inspired by the flat plate bracing in between the tubes. I plan some more to braceing the frame and save weigh.

Thank you - I would love to see more pics of your truck. Do you have a website with pics of the build ?

ironworks 05-01-2006 02:42 PM

There is a handful on the home page of LG toward the bottom. Of the beginning and I have posted a few since those. Send me you email and i can send whatever you want to see. I will be posting more in the next few days on here, once I get the front clip on, And I will post some rolling chassis pics.

Rodger that chassis is a masterpeice....I hope everyone that looks at those pics understands the hours upon hours of time that went into making it look the way it does......very nice

srh3trinity 05-02-2006 09:24 PM

It's almost a shame to cover up all that beautiful chassis work and fabrication.

ironworks 05-02-2006 11:05 PM

I just can't say enough about how cool that truck is...there are some really talented builders on this site.

Is that all you did in two weeks? Where you just sitting around doing nothing? :willy: Just messing with you. Awesome truck and VERY AWESOME craftmanship. Now get back to work, so you can post more updated pics.
