This is a 61 impala that is getting a Detroit Speed X-Gen 595 front clip. For the rear it is getting a 9 inch and sticking with the stock style 3 link rear suspension. The lower links will be getting custom built with an adjustable upper link. The brakes will be from Kore 3. The 348 tri power and 4 speed will be going back in the the car. Wheels on the car will be Grip Equipped Rodsters. There will be more pictures at the beginning of the week.

Very nice....can't wait to see more. Great choice on the wheels too.

Here are some more pictures of the whole car and what we have done so far. The outside of the car will be untouched.

Not trying to be a wise a$$ but isn't that a 61? Cool project tho.

That's exactly what I was thinking

It's a 61, super cool either way.

clementime56 11-11-2013 06:00 PM

Yes 61. In a hurry when typing. Should have proof read.

RodZZilla 11-11-2013 06:32 PM

Like the fact that you are leaving the 348.

I just saw this thread and was going to say nice job grafting in the front sub but..... nice job on the new frame. It looks like the LS but has bitten some one else. Awesome job.
