Best Looking Silver?
Wanting your opinions and pics if you have them on the best silver for a 69 Camaro. I have seen the Viper silvers, latest corvette silver, original GM Cortez. What silver would you use?
|
Check out the Mercedes Silver. Glassurit (sp?), I believe. I've seen it on two cars and it is stunning.
|

After being up close and personal with Mayhem for a week it's a great shade of silver in any light condition.......IMO.

Not the best pictures, as a matter o fact they're horrible. My parents cruised the dealerships and ended up with this from a Saab.
Believe it or not at times it looks as light as Meyhem. With the body lines on the Fury it looks really good...and not purple. |

Jay if you do go with this Silver shoot me a pm. When I ask my painter what the code was for Marks car he informed me that I may still have two gallons left that was never used. PPG supplied me with all the coatings for Marks car I had everything ready to go but PPG wasn't the paint of choice I guess. So I wound up eating the cost because it wasn't used my loss could be your gain!!

Seems dark for atomic silver but it could be the lighting. Good looking machine no matter what the code is.

Looks good. Orion silver has always been a nice bright one. We have a match to that one we call "Stellar Silver". Nice coarse and bright silver metallic. For people that like a bright sparkle but not so big as the Orion type we generally recommend Iridium Silver which is bright but not so coarse.
If you really want a unique silver try our Stellar Silver and put our Ultra-Flair pearl over it. It gives it a holographic effect without the particle look of a holographic flake. |
Guys,
Did we ever figure out the paint code for Mayhem? |

Another vote for the Lexus Atomic Silver. Went to the dealership the other day and checked it out, stunning. Different and a great color.

The color of Mayhem is Porsche GT Silver, color code is (LM7Z). There are several variations of this color, your local automotive paint shop should be able to show you the differences. I recently had my 1964 Pontiac GTO painted this color. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...pse7a1ace2.jpg |
