Wow, far from my taste, but sounds like some wild ingenuity.

Every year i go, and every year i miss sh$t like this. Between this and Marty's pics, i almost feel as if it was a different show. Weird (both missing alot of stuff at the show and this car)

HEY RON, you for got WHY :underchair: :headscratch:

Rick D 11-20-2013 05:44 PM

I saw that on Facebook the other day. Crazy for sure!!

96z28ss 11-20-2013 06:40 PM

I spotted that and took at look at it.
Spent the whole time asking why? It was upstairs in the south hall mixed in with the off-road stuff.

Anybody see pedals in the interior shot?

Right! I stopped to look at this and just scratched my head as to why anyone would do something like that. I suppose the answer "because they can" is acceptable, but really...why would you do something like that?

LS1-IROC 11-21-2013 03:18 AM

It's dumb, but gets press. So I guess it has a purpose for the shop/owner?

NorCal72 11-21-2013 05:36 AM

The rear wheel offset looks horrible IMO.

ironworks 11-21-2013 06:24 AM

That's pretty tame in comparison to some things I have seen upstairs in the truck hall.

He could have saved himself a ton of work had he just put a really clean mirror on the firewall.

Haha, I looked at the pictured first and kept thinking that's surely all it was... but nope! :headspin:

geberhard 11-21-2013 11:00 AM

leg room is overrated.....

preston 11-21-2013 01:00 PM

I agree - complete waste of time, money, and talent.

But int he crawl below the article, I saw a link for an LS V12, now that sounds cool !

(BTW I remember that dual engine roadster rod in Hot Rod a few years ago, now that thing was cool, but it was a totally different aesthetic and it made great sense, its not like I would reject any concept of a dual engine vehicle. Also the FWD drivetrain up front and then repeated in back is kind of cool too).

I also really dig the LS V4. That would be a great block to stuff into my Cruze.

Yep, so is rust.

I saw the car while I was there and really did think there was a mirror in the engine bay when I passed it. I didn't even stop to look at it closer. It was in the section where the vendors were trying to make hard sells on their products.
