VIDEO: The Mule at Thunderhill

Here's a little video I put together with some footage that Charley took of the Mule at Thunderhill last weekend. While the contrast was out of limit making it hard to see outside of the car, it's still damn cool to watch the tach and key fob while listening to the motor and tires howling.

Thanks Charley and Mark.

I should also note that this is posted on the Lateral-g Video page. :)

lol... Yeah, just a tiny bit of glare there Jonny.

Charley, the car is awesome. Can't call it a poser now, can you? :P

What's cool is when you can see the speedo go up at damn near the same rate of speed as the tach. Damn that looked like it would have been fun.

I put my sunglasses on for the in-car footage, but it was nice to see the car in action anyway.

ProdigyCustoms 05-03-2006 07:52 AM

Tires barked the entire time, COOL!

CAMAROBOY69 05-03-2006 07:57 AM

Thanks for posting the video. It was cool to hear the car in action and watch the gauges jump around while Mark flogged the Mule.

Thanks for posting the video it was great. I rent an incar cam like that sometimes when I race my dirt car. The guy that rents the cam says that it has something to do with the cam adjusting for the darkness in the car then the light outside. If you could hang the cam over your left shoulder out the window you could still see the gauges and the steering wheel while seeing the track too.

The key chain was cracking me up. You could tell everything that was going on in the car just by watching it.

If Charley has not emailed you yet he posted this awhile back...

That's a cool color EXCEPT when you're following Charley through Alabama on a concrete stretch of interstate in heavy rain. It's like camoflage. Trust me, on know.

markss28 05-04-2006 07:01 AM

That was a great vid. I like that he let it all hang out and he wasnt real easy on the car.

69rs 05-07-2006 06:16 PM

sweeeeet video! Me likes :unibrow:

Beegs 05-09-2006 08:12 PM

Amazing site and sounds! I love the keychain swaying!! I would love to see that same vid with about a foot of thin chain hanging from the mirror.

I have been on the fence about ordering a TKO600 or T56. After watching this vid I am leaning toward the 5 speed. It looks to me like Mark never went beyond 4th gear. Can anyone verify? I know there are a ton of variables but it just struck me that he did not get into 5th. Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember reading that 5th in the mule was swapped to .82 (D&D trans ??)

thanks for any input, Bryan in NH

Kendall Burleson 05-09-2006 08:42 PM

The sound was great you could here the turbo singing cool vid scott

JimM 05-14-2006 08:00 PM

Glad I fianlly made it over here to see the vid.

Was that the boost gauge between the speedo and tach?
That one was fun to watch, too.

Great vid, awesome car. Had the pleasure of speaking with Charley in the team Camaro chat room last night, heck of a nice guy.
