Does anybody know the difference between the whie and blackl editions of the Go-pro. When I put the ads side by side they look identical.

Couple of differences:

White - Features video resolutions up to 1080p30, 5MP photos up to 3 frames per second, an ultra wide angle lens and built-in Wi-Fi. Waterproof to 131’/40m. $199

Black 3+ - Features video resolutions up to 4K, 12MP photos up to 30 frames per second, built-in Wi-Fi, SuperView™ and Auto Low Light modes. Waterproof to 131’/40m. Also includes the wireless remote. $399

There is a Silver Edition between the White & Black Editions - I believe it is similar to the Black without the Remote. There is an I-Phone App that will work as a Remote.

There is also a New Edition of the Go-Pro 3 that has a Longer Life Battery.

Yeah I saw the Silver model at Costco and was wondering what the differences were between the models.

I've been wanting to get one for my self and hoping to find a Black Friday deal... still just not sure which one to get.

I bought a silver last spring, I think I paid almost $300 for it. I love it!!

I've upgraded to mostly all Ram mounts and love them as well.

Being able to control the camera with my phone or tablet makes all the difference in the world. Preview to make sure it's pointed correctly, review after if you'd like, and being able to start\stop the recording and turn the camera off and on...all with the phone...makes it easier to get the battery to last much longer. If it is going to be completely off for an extended time, turning off the wi-fi signal on the camera helps save battery too.

Picked up one at Best Buy for $249 Black Friday price.
