I posted this other places but I really want your guys input

2014 is around the corner and my car will probably be updated with new paint and the rims on Jane have out lived there usefulness, I originally bought them from Coys, and then they discontinued the style ( I know there sold by other companies now) but I think I want a more race designed rim I just not sure what, suggestion anyone?

I like these, but they might be too clunky and vintage looking for you. They are probably also expensive. I didn't see a price, or look for one either ...

I think your ride needs a set of Forgeline's. Meh, matters the cost....just do it.

Musclerodz 12-06-2013 12:10 PM

what budget?

glassman 12-06-2013 12:32 PM

Ummm, theres a dude in san mateo that sells Forgelines....maybe...I say go with some spoked rims.

Check out the new Weld RTS or GTS wheels. They are lightweight and have some sweet designs. I liked the RTS74 like Chris Jacobs runs on his Chevelle pictured on the site but the new designs are pretty kicka$$. Plus, its different than all the other wheels on most cars at events.

Check them out in the link below.

I'd consider a version of the mini-lites for yours.... what about Team III? They are local and reasonably priced and I think would fit your car's mojo nicely.

Hi Rod,

I would check out Formula 43. They offer great looking, high quality wheels with excellent customer service.

Here is there website: http://formula43.com/

I've always liked your current wheel, probably because mine are similar and everybody is running the Euro-look these days. :sieg:

These come in 18 x 8, 9.5 & 11

Rod P 12-06-2013 07:30 PM

Great looking wheels, but considering the nature of the build with your car, "I" still like what's on it. Classic muscle car, grass-roots get it done on a "budget" style. FWIW.

I also agree, looks perfect "as is". But, if your not into it anymore, upgrade time!

TheJDMan 12-07-2013 01:38 PM

I have always liked the look of your car with the classic spoke wheels. That said, I also like the look of the mocked up Forgeline wheels. Looks a little more modern. You might take a look at the Weld RT-S wheels with black centers.

You current wheels have that old school look. If you want to go to a Modern Race wheel you can't go wrong with Formula 43. They are in the business of building Race wheels.

Why not stick with the 5 spoke theme in a modern version. Do a set of RAD5s with graphite centers with polished lips to give it a kinda retro look. Have Travis open up the lug pockets and center to give it a more racer boy look just like the Stevens Camaro.

I don't think they're exact, your's appear to have sharper ridge on the spoke and a hoop without a pronounced step.

This is my 18x8" front.........FWIW
