RideTech 33 Ford heading to Barrett Jackson
Hey Bret, good luck on the two sales....
Is there a place on their website that shows the tv times for the specific lot #'s? I'd like to watch both these and a host of others .... thanx, Mike found it, home page docket list.... |
Their website shows a mustang as lot #1268...(for the '33), ok, their website shows it as 1286, oh the dyslexia in us
The GTO will sell on Friday evening. The 33 on Saturday evening. That's as close as I can get. You'll have to check with the Barrett site to determine the fox channel that is airing it. It moves around.

two heavy hitters, good luck on the auctions bret.
Bret,
Does that mean you are keeping the 48Hour Camaro? |
I had a chance to visit Grouchy and the Goat today before they head out to AZ and Barrett-Jackson on SPEED, the Grouchy the 33 looks good wearing the new shiny suit and they were both staying warm in the RideTech body shop and the Goat had her paint fully polished and last minute ride height adjustments here's a couple shots of the girls sitting around

Wait, when did the car get the gloss finish?

ALMOST [but not quite] too nice to sell. Be aware...this car is still ready to go 150 mph around the track at any time. I wish they'd let me take a few laps at the ride and drive area at Barrett...might make the bidding more interesting :) |
Thanks for the update.
They sure do park them in tight. |
the GTO is in the staging lanes!!!!
" @HPPontiac: $62,000 for a #restomod '71 #GTO convertible. Another '71, '65, '69 Judge, '67 Ram Air, and '64 coming up
#BarrettJackson " Guessing it may be referring to the GTO in this thread? |
You are correct
What did it sell for?
what
82K@ 530 est
100K wow
100,000
$100,000 does not seem like enough?
Travis |
The 33 that is some one got a good deal
100000
Lots of big money this year, on all the wrong cars
The majority of street rods/pre war cars usually seem to sell for pennies on the dollar at Barrett Jackson. I don't think that is actually a bad sales price, all things considered. Someone got a steal though, and might not even understand what they're getting...
Bret - Glad to see you had a successful Barrett Jackson show! Can't wait to see what's next up for you! We know it will be beyond killer.
I'm personally very happy to have NOT won the bidding contest... and glad the '33 sold for good money... it's a great car! |

I passed her driving down the road here in Austin today. Apparently she's gone to a home where she's being driven! Glad to see that...
that is awesome, the new owner also owns one of Bret's other cars, and he does drive them, not like we drive them but he does tool around in them

There is a rumor that both cars may show up at the Goodguys Texas event in a couple weeks. |
Hee hee, you are correct, I was. Actually, I was walking the other direction, but I definitely saw her!
I heard that same rumor, I hope it's true. I do love that 33! :) |
