Hi all,

My name is Herb and I've been a lat-g member/lurker since 2008. I haven't posted much in that time so I figured I should introduce myself before I jump into the threads.

I was in the Coast Guard for 24 years, retired in 2012, and immediately started working at Ridetech as the shock specialist.

I'm in the process of building a 40x48 shop behind my house. Once that's done I can get back to work on my '63 C10. I also have a '66 El Camino that need's an engine refresh and after that, my '66 Chevelle will get completely revamped with a chassis update and aluminum 509.

I look forward to actually participating on lat-g!

Are you the guy to talk valving mods with?

Since I have more than one project in the works, I'll list them in the order they're being tackled. First is the 40x48 pole barn, 16' ceiling, radiant floor heat, 2 post lift, etc, etc. It's almost done!

Next is the C10... full Ridetech air suspension, 454, 4L80, Moser 12 bolt, 4 wheel discs, Vintage Air.

Getting busy in the El Camino at Summit Point... we've had this ol girl since '97. 454, TKO-600, Currie 9", Baer brakes, Vintage Air. It will probably get bumped ahead of the C10 since I just need to refresh the engine. I should be able to have it up and running soon.

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...o/DSC_0496.jpg

And finally the Chevelle looking all mean and nasty... Currently a 454 but an all aluminum 509 is on a cart waiting its turn, TKO-600 (until it breaks), Fab 9 rear, Baer brakes, and there's also a Scott Mock front clip on a cart waiting to be grafted to a bare '66 chassis I have. Oh, and this one has no creature comforts.

And finally, the '65 more door, or as I refer to it, the crew cab Chevelle. 283, PG, 10-bolt. No plans for it at the moment.

Hey Aaron, I've been working on way too many projects at the same time!
Now that the shop is about done, I'm going to dive into the El so I can play too!

Thanks! I guess slow progress is better than no progress.

Can you ship that garage to California when you're done with it? I'm very jealous!
