WTB 1st gen PT Car

Looking for a nice first gen Pro-Touring car. Prefer AME, Speedtech or DSE suspension and an LS with a 5/6 speed, but will consider any quality car that has a solid body and decent paint.

Show me what you've got here or PM me if you're not ready to go public with an ad just yet.

Thanks Guys.

Any interest in projects? I have one that's finished but it's pricey. :)

I am going to sell my 68. DSE front sub, rear Quadra-link, Baer brakes, Recaros, ect.- All parts from the DSE catalog. MP122 forged LS3 (with Katech valve covers, Katech flywheel and ZR1 clutch), T56 Magnum, DSE tubs, Forgeline wheels, ect.

It's been driven for a total of about 500 miles. I removed the BBC and haven't installed the LS3 or plumbed for it. I removed the 4" cowl hood and ordered an AMD aluminum 2" cowl hood (thinking of removing the white stripes). The interior needs to be buttoned up (has a different steering wheel now).

Black Billet Specialies billet hood/trunk hinges, black Draft steering wheel-All the black anno billet goodies for the exterior and interior from the catalog (most of which will be installed within the week).

If you are interested, let me know.

Bought a very nice 67 RS/SS clone. Once I get done at the DMV (some time next week from the looks of it) and give it a bath, I'll take some pictures and post on the car. I will say it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it's everything I need.

That's it? That's all we get? I NEED MORE MAN! :rules:

Spiffav8 04-02-2014 07:46 PM

I've been getting a lot of that recently. I finally got all the grime off the car after hauling it home and took a few pictures. Mother nature decided to roll in some cooler weather and clouds for us, so the pics are a bit dark. I'll get more once the sun decides to come back out.

I would like to thank everyone who PM'd me. I've considered some great cars and appreciate all the pictures and information sent. The car I bought was kind of found by accident as Paul casually mentioned it. I kept looking at other cars, but kept coming back to this one. It doesn't have the suspension I was looking for, but it has all the makings of the car I want and the price was right. I owe a big thank you to Blake at Speedtech, John (johnnymac46) and Jeff (JWcarguy) for all their assistance with picking the right car. Paul (PSV) and his wife Karen where nice enough to have me over and I can't tell you all how much I enjoyed the few hours I spent with them. We have a lot of great people in our community.

The car has been owned by two of our members and worked on by a few others. That made buying it a little bit sweeter.

Thanks Man. Yup..Big Block it is. Old school LS6 crate engine. Might need your expertise in checking the valve lash, just to make sure it's set right. For now I am just going to drive the car and have some fun with it. When the day comes it will have plenty of parts from Speedtech for sure.

Yes. Like I said....a few guys here have owned it.

PSV 04-04-2014 07:40 AM

Glad you made it home safe and are enjoying the car. It was great meeting you and I look forward to future visits. I hope Laurie liked the car.

Karen is getting over me letting the car go as a shopping trip is in the plans for the weekend. She said she's forgiven you for driving through the backyard and over Dixie's grave, lol.

I'm still surprised you didn't choose the "red" car here but am sure the 67 will serve you well.

Vince@Meanstreets 04-04-2014 05:24 PM

yeah, thats great curtis. that thing is super clean.

Paul and his family are good people.

hi paul!

MaxHarvard 04-07-2014 08:01 PM

Looks nice!

Now just buy mine, swap over the parts and BAM! instant winner! ;)

I am SOOOO SORRY about driving through your back yard. I swear it looked like you had a second entrance and a dirt drive around the house. I had no idea Dixie was buried there and not to be rude to Karen BUT THOSE LOOKED LIKE WEEDS!! OMG I am so thankful Karen didn't beat the tar out me right there and then. Still can't believe I got away with the car. Please tell Karen tickets to a show in Vegas are on me.

:peepwall:

Laurie and I are having a lot of fun with the car. Can't go 1/2 a mile without someone complementing us.

:thankyou:

Hey, no searching... No shopping around... No chance of getting screwed over by resellers/used part places...

Proven parts that all work and a free shell!! Haha!!
