Legendary Motorcars Super Cuda

Man the Cuda was crazy. 200+ mph is crazy fast. They had good details on the build also in the show.

Man I love that car. No stupid wings or hideous stance, just power and tire. It's funny, that car is pretty old now. I think that footage is about 4 or 5 years old if I remember, but it still looks great. 208 mph, tube chassis and 1500HP or not that's moving out.

Is that the one they ran against an Enzo at a super speedway a few years back? Vaguely remember seeing a show on it but you are right.. its been a few years.

Bowtieracing 03-28-2014 10:32 AM

I bought the dvd, I think its the coolest car ever after bigred.

jimbo 03-28-2014 10:56 AM

This car?

4mm 03-28-2014 11:02 AM

That's the one. Hard to fathom that was years back. Nice build.

Vince@Meanstreets 03-28-2014 11:48 AM

Bowtieracing 03-28-2014 12:18 PM

Vince, Peter Klutt has his own show now called Legendary Motorcar (his company name...lol) on the Velocity Channel. His son is on the show with him now. I just noticed it recently coming back on with new episodes.

Thanks, I'll have to look it up. DCG was a great show

I had seen that Tom passed away I think last year. That guy made me chuckle at times. Evidently he was a pretty big deal in Canada representing our sport at many types of events. Shame.

Now called Legendary Motorcar on Velocity I think.

I was really bummed when Speed dropped them, but they stayed on in Canada, not quite the same though. Glad to see they are back and hope he cranks out lots o' episodes. I do see a definite few problems though...
There is very little drama, the work is quality, neither Mr. Klutt nor his son appear to be douches, there are no ridiculous deadlines... maybe this is the turnaround for car programming.

Jeff-

Preach sir. I like the show.

I bought a car from them --- a '70 Chevelle BB - power window - A/C drop top.

It was "full body off restoration"....

It arrived from Canada - FILTHY - and was about as far from a "frame off restoration" as a guy could get... This was not a cheap car...

Peter and I had some "conversation" with my attorney in a conference call -- mostly about what I would proceed to do about an International fraudulent advertisement -- at which time they agreed to take the car back and refund my money in full.

I can't believe that..... They are known around the world for top quality work and standing behind their product. Peter is a awesome person when you have money but if your a tire kicker or want to chat his ears off he has no interest, he doesn't have the time. The shop isn't far from me and it is just as nice if not nice in person.
I am glad that he did give you a refund as it sounds like he should have, sorry to hear things went sour

I've dealt with two cars for clients that they worked on and I wouldn't purchase one from them without a real close up close and personal look.... Peter is a Hell of a nice guy,,, just has a ton going on there and sometimes his staff isn't as interested in the big picture as he is.....

Isn't that always the case though? It's always tough to find great help. With all of his builds and crew I could not imagine his over head.

Caught the marathon today, great show but there are too things I absolutely hate about it, the commercials and it's only 30 mins long.
