why are posts missing
 

When we moved to the new server on 4-12 the hosting company did not update the IP address. While we all thought we were on the new server we were actually still working on the old server. I discovered the error yesterday when I was trying to edit some files, so they fixed the IP address issue, but also had to kill the old server to force the domain nameservers to go to the new server.

Of course since the new server was created with all the content up to 4-12, everything after that is gone since it was actually recorded on the old server. I've asked to see if they can recover that, but even if the old server still has that content they'd have to do the move again.

My guess is the last eight days of new threads and responses to old threads are gone. If you've posted in the classifieds or have a thread that's missing please re-post it. I apologize for this issue, but it's completely beyond my control. I'm as happy about it as you are. :sarcasm_smiley:
