power ball
like steve says the big one is too big but works pretty well...not as good as i thought..for realy dirty stuff it cleans them easier than scrubbing...i got mine off ebay new//2 bottles of power metal polish..1 ball and 2 micro rags for 35 bucks...i just got the small one to see if it is easier

They are Mothers brand...the one that Chiper Foose advertises on tv.
I tried the small one on billet wheels with the Mother's metal polish...it was just ok...not as good as Chip made it look. |
I thought it worked awsome!! i can see were the small one would come in handy for small areas. I find that it does just as good a job as polishing by hand , but you get done much faster.

Jody, try polishing something that's dirty. It might work better for you. :P
Honestly, it works pretty decent. You do have to follow the directions though. I tested it on one of my Cragar Superlite II wheels that are currently on the Camaro. They are dirty as all hell. Well, three of them are. I used Windex to clean up the wheel first. Did ok, but not good. I then used the small powerball on it. It worked pretty good. There are some deep stains in there still, but most of it cleaned up. Work the thing back and forth, and if it's not clean enough for you after one application, try it again. A variable speed drill works great. I'd recommend the small version. |

Sounds like a deal! PM Sent :) |
I have the power ball, I think it works pretty good. You do have to clean up the surface first then start applying the ball and liquid to the metal. iIfind using it for about 5 minutes on each wheel and then take a dry clothe and just wipe it down does the trick.

I have one and use on the inside wheel halves--it works great for that. But, I was a little let down using it on the outside spokes.

I love my mini Powerball.
Much better than polishing by hand.. I also have the original larger version and I have not even used it as it is really to big for most of the detailing applicatons we would use on our cars. IMHO don't bother with the big Powerball just buy the mini. The mini also comes with an extension that allows you to reach some tight areas. Scott |
I liked it and it does very well, just don't expect it to clean really dirty rims.

i got the mothers one...but i wasnt impressed...im guessing its cuz i dont have foose wheels or something. it does however work good if you dunk it in soapy water and use it to "wash" the wheel
