Anyone going to be at the USCA Fontana event this weekend?

To continue our coverage of these events I'm hoping someone who will be attending can get us pictures of the event. My person is not attending this one, so looking for a person/people who'd be willing to send some pics for an article.

Thanks!

In going this weekend. Not sure how much time I will have to take pictures, but I will try and remember to take some. I'm sure others will be willing to help as well.

Jody, if you can get a bunch of pictures together, I would be happy to provide the words. I usually spend more time BSing than remembering to take photos, which is why I said I would *try* and remember to take some.

Thanks! If you have them online somewhere like dropbox I can grab them there. Wanted to do an article if I could.

Thanks again.

Thanks again.

I'll post them to drop box so you can pull the entire lot. I'm also loading them to a Flickr photostream/album so everyone can look.

I just want to note that these were shot with a Canon 60D with a 28-105 lens which wasn't the best for the distance. Each photo is 3456x2304 and is about 3MB.

Also these are all the raw rough cuts with no cropping, color correction etc so some photos are not be perfect. (typically out of 300, 100 are ok, 30 you like, and 3 you love).

They mentioned that the bug was the photographers car? When I heard this I thought they meant like a chase car but it made runs by itself.

Thanks Vince!! I had a blast doing it. I think some people were like whose this crazy guy running around taking pictures of every single car. Others probably thought I was press and started apologizing when they got in the shot.

I want to do it again! .... need more camera lenses and a pass to get on the track or a chase car.

Great job with the pictures this weekend!

The Beetle belonged to Jason Torchinsky from Jalopnik. It was awesome watching him drive the snot out of it on Saturday. He wasn't just putting around, you could see him trying to squeeze ever little bit of time out of the Bug, as his times kept creeping down. I don't know if he ever took a break on the Speed Stop.

Thanks. Those are the only pics I've seen of it. Wondering if anyone got a picture of the entire car.

Nah those are all the shots I could get of it. It was parked in a corner facing a gate and the Baer booth. On the other side of the gate was the autocross track so I couldn't jump around to get a full shot.

Twin turbo SBF with ZEX nitrous kit - pretty crazy.

Twin Turbo Pantera

I have seen the Twin Turbo Pantera
at our Arizona Pantera convention the last
two years.. lots of cool things on the car
It was not complete two years back and last
year he was having a clutch issue.. I have never
seen it move under its own power.. maybe he
is there now or still sorting things out..many complex
systems.. I kinda like simple myself

I saw him tow it in and I never heard it started. They kept wiping it down like a show car.
