Very nice car. I didn't know all the details until now, but I've had the full sideview shot as the background pic on one of my computer monitors for years since I first came across it on the web. In fact, I recall originally using a pic when the car had the VF40's on it and then updating the pic when the Rushforths were installed. Your car was inspiration for me to buy my own '69.
GLWS! |
Thank you Jim, I appreciate the kind words.
When I was driving and promoting this car, I would answer maybe 15-20 questions/monthly regarding the wheels and stance so it makes me happy knowing the car was an inspiration and a help to some...someone will be getting a well-sorted out clean Z/28. |
That's an amazing car!! Are those covers for the lights, or will the light actually shine through??

Why the three pictures with the CHP cover and the Flowmaster ads weren't used is beyond me...?:lostmarbles: |
Probably because those photos are owned by others and they need permission.

One of my favorite cars in the scene. I've always admired it and I consider it the big brother to my own! :D Good luck with the sale!
Hell of a car for the price! |
Car still available for sale...
Well Mecum was a bust guys, wrong day with no buyers equals no sale.
I had a bad feeling about Thursday from the get-go and should have insisted on it going through on Friday (where I feel it would have sold) but that's on me so I'll just caulk it up to experience and move on. Car is running so well with a complete tune-up, a new starter and a healthy dose of 110 race fuel so once I get all the Mecum dust off of it, I may actually enjoy it a bit but with a new car coming sometime in October that will need to go in it's stall, it will need to go bye-bye so the new number on the car is $59K/OBO. Thanks guys in advance for your interest... |
very good looking car. bet it is pretty fun to dive. it looks clean

John car is beautiful! Sorry it didn't sell at the auction but it was nice to meet you.

I have to say CL is bugging the crap outa me lately. Since my TBSS was stolen i've been looking for its replacement or something else to my contentment. Well every fu___kn dealer out there seems to think that if i'm looking for a Cayenne GTS i might also be looking for a 95 Pontiac. Those people are ruining CL.
I would like to see this 69' ad up there, but being flagged that soon, what a bunch of aholes. Sorry, bad day at work and the 'tards in society are just making it more difficult. End of Rant. Now good luck with the sale..... |

It's a PITA but I still love Craigslist. I buy more stuff from there than Wal-Mart.
There are some weird things postings get flagged for that you wouldn't expect, like if you post it in more than your local area. That's actually against CL policy, so your postings can get flagged and removed if you post them in the city next door. What get's me is that there are some people that don't have anything better to do than flag for stuff like that. I can see flagging scams, and I do myself, but other stuff, who cares. Oh, and GLWTS! Quote:
Flag em! LOL Seriously, I think that's against CL policy as well. Putting all the key words that have nothing to do with that type of vehicle in the adds. |
Well I tried to list it two more times on CL and it get's flagged for removal just as fast as I can list it so F Craigslist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
