New post don't work
 

New post don't work on iPad. Why? They did. Hadn't changed anything

Works fine on my tablet, but it's not an Apple product. Sounds like another "Apple" thing.

Mine only works about 25% of the time on IPad when trying to click on new posts.

Same thing happens to me. 25% if I'm lucky.

Now the "today's post" don't work. All other forums that have this feature work fine on my brand new iPad. Frustrating!!'n

I have a brand new iPad mini and have the same issue. If I've been signed in for awhile it seems to work ok. But if I close Safari and start fresh....yeah it's all messed up for some reason.

had the same issue for ages on 3 different apple devices. Only on this forum too, never have this problem on any other forum, and I'm on quite a few...

Trying to see 'new posts' rarely works for me on my iPad using Safari.

Sometimes have problems with youtube as well.

For me at least, using 'Chrome' eliminated those issues.

This is the same for me as well, I am on several forums and this is the only one that give me trouble on an iPhone. Works fine on the MacBook

Is this still an issue? We're having trouble duplicating the issue on our Apple devices.

I just logged on via my iPad and oddly it worked flawlessly when I hit the "New Post" button. It's never done that before. :_paranoid

I hate Apple. :lol: 95%+ of all issues happen on Apple products.

No, but I am on multiple forums and this is the only one that gives me this issue. Our apple computers work fine, only trouble is when I am on the iphone.

The only Apple item in my house is an I phone my daughter gave my wife. Just tried it on that, worked fine. Marked forums read, logged out, logged back in five minutes later and it worked again, only showed 3 posts the second time but that's all that had been posted in that time period.

Just tried todays posts as I see that's been an issue also, and it worked fine for me. If we can't duplicate it it'll be hard to fix.

Any of you see an error message?

Just tried it from my iphone, it worked. I agree, I see no rhyme or reason when it works or doesn't work. Not the end of the world. I still love this forum. Thanks for looking into this.

Just tried it again, didn't work. Here's a screen shot of what I get.

That would be correct if there were no new posts since you last were on the site; otherwise it's not working.

I still occasionally get this message even after hours of not being online. I never get this message on the computer.

I have the opposite problem on this site. Old posts show up as new posts, sometimes. I don't know how many times I checked on the Metal console thread, but the last post kept showing up as a new post for the last 2 weeks, until today, when there was a new post.

I'm on a laptop, but don't really worry too much about it. I just check the dates before reading the posts.

I too get this problem on my iPad

One thing I have noticed, if I have to log in, the New Posts works fine.

Yet if site automatically logs me on, 80% of the time New Posts doesn't work. Also I will wait for awhile before clicking on New Post button which works more times.

Still no workie

Works fine on my IPad and it is upgraded to ios 8.

Im just lazy.... new post just takes me less time to find out whats going on.

Just tried the "new post" button today. I haven't been on the forum for a couple days. Got the "no new posts" message. I'm on an iPhone 6 with the latest update.
Tried logging out and back in, no difference, then logged out and manually cleared my history and cookies. Still the same error message when I logged back in.
Please keep trying to fix this, at least until the mobile version of the website is ready.

I have a really good computer guy, but until he can duplicate the issue we're stuck. It works fine on my wife Iphone and the computer guys phone and Ipad. We'll keep trying though.

I phone 6 with OS8? What browser?

I am on an Iphone 5 with iOS8.0.2 software, safari browser. Still have the same issues as mentioned before.

Still don't work

When I get that what usually works for me is hitting "lateral-g forum" above user pc and when it takes me to the forum home I hit new post again.

Been working for me. Still get the random "no new posts" message but that works 9 times out of 10.
