Pretty cool idea, but how do you open the door of the car once you drive it on the trailer? I had to make my trailer fender removable to be able to get my car door open on my normal trailer...

Very cool trailer, but for 12 grand I'd prefer a nice aluminum enclosed.

Guess I wasn't the first to think of that question! :D

Looks cool, but that price tag is pretty steep. I'll look for them to refine the design a bit and the price to come down before considering it. I can see the advantages though for sure. Are they made here in the US? The guy in the video seemed to have a foreign accent...

Do like I do and winch them on and off. No need to open a door. Wait! One of mine doesn't even have doors!!! LOL

I put a real nice winch setup on my trailer when I rigged it up for regular use. My plan was to winch it on and off regularly.

I figured out real quick it's a lot faster and easier to just drive them up and off the trailer. I trailered the car to 13 events that summer, plus multiple times to the alignment shop, exhaust shop, etc as well. I saved a lot of time over the year by driving it on and off the trailer. The winch is handy if the car is broke, otherwise it's a PITA and time eater.

What was even better though was switching to street tires so I could drive it to events this year instead of trailering it. Talk about a time and hassle saver!!

Sorry! I LOVE winching mine on and off.... I have a great WARN winch with synthetic rope -- and a WIFI remote.....

Snap the hook in the pick up point and press a button.... bingo they're on. Not sure what this "time" thing you mention is.... But I seem to have plenty of it! LOL

Well, just imagine if you did NOT have a tow hook on the front of your car and had to shinny 3 or 4 feet underneath a car 7" off the ground to put a strap around something solid to hook to...

Nice trailer until an airline blows or a bag pops and the trailer hits the ground while towing. But for $12Gs I am sure they thought of that too.

Just shoot me! That's when you get a tow hook.... as fast as you're going now - you'll need one eventually anyway.. LOL

I thought of the same thing Albert... an airbag lets go and then what!?!?! My big azz trailer is bagged (air ride) but it has stops on it. I've checked it out with the air dumped and it wouldn't hit anything or drag.

I've looked into making one, it's not going to be just a weekend job for sure. Especially if I hold true to not wanting to cut a slot in my front nose cover for one. It IS a street car still, remember... ;)

It'll have to be easily removable and hang down below the nose cover which means it'll have to be over engineered to be strong enough...

But back to the trailer... What powers the air compressor?

Mine's driven by a 450HP Mercedes Diesel (DD13) with 1450 foot pounds of torque!!!

I believe the airbag is only needed to drop the trailer bed, not to drive. I.e. the bag airs up, cantilever-ish drop of the suspension. Air bag air depleted, trailer bag to regular height.

It is a cool idea, I see a lot of the trailer queen rides scrapping badly at local events, so can definitely work well for some. The concept is definitely cool, should not be too hard to improve on it. I would for example "cup" the airbags, so when deflated there is zero ride on them, rather than have the weight on them with the trailer fully deflated.

Very cool out of the box idea though!

It has an onboard air setup (see box on the front). That draws trailer power 12V from the tow rig, electric compressor fills the tank up. You could also add to the setup a Schrader valve and check valve and fill from any compressor or gas station as well. Pretty similar to RideTech air ride stuff.

I have helped a serious amount of customers load and unload their cars through the years and a winch with the remote is the best way still to do it IMO. Nothing wrong with being able to put a hook somewhere an doing it your self without help
