does anyone know what color red this is?
|
Paul I 'think' it's Vdub Salsa Red, but I could be wrong.

Were the styles of these ZX3's changed at some point?
Where the spoke meets the rim, its smooth in these pics, but the ones i have saved (as these are the ones i want) and the ones on the website the spokes meet the inner hoop with a change in elevation.....? This is a ZX3, no? http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/...cffac110b9.jpg |

So there are three wheels causing confusion here: The ZX3P, ZX3, and GZ3. 1. The wheel on Rich's Camaro is the ZX3P (flat lip Premier Series). The ZX3P is built with a flat reverse outer and was designed with a spoke that terminates at the inner edge of the rim register. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/pr...ries/zx3p.html http://i.imgur.com/j3zLctt.jpg (Sidebar: Note that the stepped lip Performance Series version of the ZX3P is the ZX3S. This would be the same center as the ZX3P (spokes that terminate at the inner edge of the rim register) combined with a stepped lip outer. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/pe...-19-20-21.html) 2. The ZX3 is the street-oriented Performance Series version of what was once our hottest racing wheel (the ZX3R). It is similar to the ZX3P/ZX3S from the standpoint of ten straight slightly tapered spokes. But the spokes on the ZX3 merge into the face of the rim register. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/pe...zx3-17-18.html http://www.forgeline.com/product_ima..._image-245.jpg 3. And finally the GZ3 is our newest interpretation of the ZX3 with ten straight slightly tapered spokes that merge into the face of the rim register. But designed with some of our newer technical capabilities and engineering advancements, like I-beamed spokes. It is available with your choice of hidden or exposed hardware. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/pe...-18-19-20.html http://i.imgur.com/fwnGQav.jpg Admittedly, this can be confusing. We have a lot of wheel styles. And some of our naming conventions have lacked consistency, at times. Believe it or not, we do have a naming system, but we sometimes make exceptions to our own rules. :headspin: |
Alright, got it. Thanx for the info. Once the rear end is getting done (winter) i'll know the bs of the rears, front clip is done so the front is dialed. THEN i can order....
