Custom trunk
Looking for ideas for finishing my 69 camaro trunk. Does anyone have some pictures of their truck that is custom finish? Also, I am open for ideas.
Thanks, Jon |
Check this build out...
http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...ta-vert-4.html I have started this myself in my 1978.. Not complete yet...the large center panel is not covered yet. I have one panel on hinges to access the stereo equipment. The large center panel needs to be removed to tilt the stereo access panel. 1/2 mdf, 1x2 pine, and some black vinyl. I stapled it onto the mdf...I will be putting a cover panel on the panel that is on hinges. I may look into a screaming chicken to put on the large center panel. http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/a...psh6cbvzgb.jpg http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/a...psja9ic0oe.jpg http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/a...psxtrs9uri.jpg http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshvcsdj9c.jpg |

Those are looking good

I am changing things around a bit but this is what I did -- the compartments hold the battery, cross overs for the speakers, ISIS, battery tender and a couple other gadgets...and I can fit a golf bag back there!

These are two of my favorites
The trunk of the 69 Camaro from Auto Body Specialists. Which by far is the most functional and best looking truck built to date in my opinion http://garagescene.net/gallery3/var/...Picture947.jpg and this is also a favorite as the trunk is still perfectly functional. http://garagescene.net/gallery3/var/...img3093ds0.jpg |
Nice!!!
Room for a golf bag is a must!!! |

This is the trunk in the 72 Camaro Driftwood when I owned it. I liked it as I thought it brought the paint and color into the trunk.
