2015 Zo6 and 2014 Viper closed highway

I woulda never thought the Viper could take it consistantly by that much, hats off to Dodge...I'd still rather have the Vette....

Looks like Tony was having fun... I would like to see it from a stop, with an automatic Z06. They claim they leave like a rocket.

I'd take a Viper whether it beat the vette or not. The vette does look awesome and has the performance to back it up but I see at least 4 of them on my 8 mile commute to work every day.

What was the chase car? That thing ran them both down and that blower wine...

Chase car is a 700rwhp Hennessey modified ZR1.

I guess it's not too surprising the Viper won. They are pretty similar cars, but the Viper has a bigger motor.

What would be interesting to see is those two cars on a road course battling it out!

Either way, I'd still take a Vette. I worked next to a shop that built some of the baddest Vipers in the country, and I just never could get use to the sound of a 10 cylinder engine. Never sounded right to me!

Agreed.

I'd be shocked if the viper could even sniff the vette on a road course. Got a real close look at the vette during the phoenix auto show over thanksgiving. Zo6 is bad to the bone.

I'd take the chase car,
did you see him go right by the vette, I think he could pass the viper if he wanted to!

Owning a FI OEM car they are so easy to mod. You will see another 80rwhp with a pulley and tune. You can't add that kind of HP for the dollar on the V10.

I'm not surprised either. People who are faithful to the good ole bowtie don't realize their are "other" cars out there. The Viper is definitely a purpose built car hence why they were rebadged as the SRT Viper. Not to mention they have considerable more Hp and Tq

EDIT....I didn't realize that was a Z06! I guess power is pretty close!
