and looks fantastic ... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps6b80a505.jpg |
Thank you sir!
We made a bunch of changes to work with the Hydratech unit. It blends in very well. Did the shaft side go good for you? |
what changes did you have to make to the bracket to use the hydroboost?

Meanstreets kit
Vince ... to answer your question .. perfectly lined up, it couldn't have been easier.
Randy, Vince has this setup dialed in, they absolute bolt together system like it was all one kit http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psd7c72dca.jpg |

Looks nice. I can't wait to see what the dyno numbers look like.
Is this da silva in Canada? If so, I'm surprised he didn't set you up with a vortech. |
Dasilva
Jr, ya thats the Dasilva in Canada ... funny thing is there are 3 high end shops in the greater Toronto area. Joe Dasilva (Pickering) does Fords, his brothers shop in Scarborough and Manny Dasilva out in Kitchener.
Here is Manny's shop, he gets the vette guys coming from all over Canada and the US ... these guys are awesome !! https://www.facebook.com/DasilvaMotorsports |
Update
Motor is in, and I think its looking pretty sweet !!
OK, so no clearance issues whatsoever ... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psfvzuvkq6.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psggkifpow.jpg |
Update
And underneath ... The American Racing headers fit PERFECTLY and the 1st thing i checked was ground clearance .. happily saw they did not hang any lower than the bottom of the frame rails ... Phew !!

Scheck44 what conversion plates did they use to install the motor? I have the same headers on an LSA but its going to be a 4L80. Appreciate any help. Is that a Speed tech cross member ?
Thanks |
Install
Hey Wayne, we used the Dirty Dingo sliders with the Speedtech poly mounts on top of OEM style 350 302 engine stands, and yes that is the Speedtech torque-arm rear
Cheers Steve |

Header clearance
Guys, thanks for the great feedback thus far ... truly appreciate the positive responses from everyone. Looks like she will get fired up later this week, or definitely the week after and then we'll see some dyno #rs :sieg:
Got some requests for the ARH header clearance pic at the box ... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...pscuk01qpi.jpg |
Update ... Custom intake/cold air box
So again theme here is keep it clean, so I built a custom air box/close out panel that serves both as a cold air box and a spot for the AC line bulkhead connector. All AC lines running through the fender and connections made at the panel.
Clear pic of the box before powder coat http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...psksmc0zf8.jpg In Black ... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps9078582a.jpg Intake connection http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...pskeuafe2x.jpg All done http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...pssjchpueo.jpg |

HP #rs
Don, Manny is expecting a little more than 700 at the wheels. He's done a few of these E Force's in Z06's with the exact same 'built' engines ... guess we'll see
