Radiator overflow containers for lsx swaps

Hey guys, I have a 69 camaro with an ls swap. I recently installed a superior radiator and was curious if anyone has a good aftermarket radiator overflow that they have used that is neat looking and efficient. If you have one you have used please give suggestions and part numbers if possible.

I'm using this one..

I used some aluminum to adapt it to fit using the factory overflow mounting hardware.

My favorite to use on Camaros is the factory 1974 nova overflow tank. It's plastic and tucks into the fender behind the headlamp.

$40 on eBay.

Vince,

Any pics how you mount it?

Its pretty insane what some tanks cost.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Vince Chris told me you made him one that looks outstanding. I was hoping to get one for under $30 but that may not be a possibility. I guess the nova one may have to work.

Custom hidden tanks are not cheap. It takes a lot of time to fabricate.

The one on Chris's Chevelle is a vapor/coolant combo recovery tank.

You can buy that same tank on ebay without the Transdapt name for a whole lot less money...

Yeah if it was not for the V/A system, I would have used the nova tank. I love anything that appears factory and hidden..... :trophy-1302:

Or you can have vince build you a custom one :weld: , But you gotta pay to play :D

ummmm sure it does :)

Google is your friend:
Pay to play, sometimes pay for play, is a phrase used for a variety of situations in which money is exchanged for services or the privilege to engage (play) in certain activities. The common denominator of all forms of pay to play is that one must pay to "get in the game," with the sports analogy frequently arising.

Vince what's the significance of the vapor/ coolant recovery? How is it different from a normal one? Also what do you think of the ones on e bay like this one

Hey Vince, that one looks really good but do you think it would work with a battery in the front on that side? It does look nice, also will it work with an LS?

LS engine need a vapor catch can to aide the PCV system. I just have integrated it into the coolant recovery unit.

This is the overflow that looks good and fits well in the 67-69 Camaro:
