Steve Chryssos 11-26-2004 07:23 PM

Nice lookin rear, but I'd put a bag over its head.

Ummgawa 11-26-2004 07:48 PM

67Sally 11-27-2004 12:31 PM

hotwheels 11-27-2004 06:53 PM

kinda ugly, but i bet it is a real head turner when it is on the road........53k, that is alot of money though for a front clip........hotwheels of turborides

Richz68 11-27-2004 08:24 PM

Tasteless....

Hopefully there are not any Chevy guys out there thinking of grafting a Grand Sport front clip on a 2002 Z-28 ragtop.... it would simply look like ass. :p

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE COBRA'S & I think the Mustang is a great car, but somebody needed a friend to have an intervention during the hours and hours of work making that turd.

chicane 11-28-2004 03:08 AM

A single .45 ACP round would do just the trick to the head...........

hotwheels 11-28-2004 11:09 PM

lmao chicane, that would solve the problem.......hehehehe hotwheels of turborides

Ricochet 11-29-2004 09:48 AM

Uggg!! Doesn't work at all. Somebody wasted alot of money & time!!

Stuart Adams 11-29-2004 01:47 PM

honestly

I wouldn't print what my honest opinions are of the car, other than I would drive backwards not forward and I won't be bidding!

61Bubbletop 11-29-2004 07:08 PM

I LOVE IT!....Oh wait, this isn't April 1st...

This is a perfect example of how difficult great styling is to achieve....Probably looked great on paper, like so many other "one off's"..but the execution is sorely lacking....I wouldn't be caught dead near that thing...Talk about wrong proportioning..they need a lesson from the AAS guys who do the '53 styled new 'vette....Those are gorgeous....this is an abomination...and only 50K....what a deal! I can only imagine the amount of ridicule this would garner rolling down Woodward....

hotwheels 11-29-2004 09:14 PM

very true BAD6SPD, never thought about it that way.............hotwheels of turborides

clill 11-29-2004 10:35 PM

I hate it and the 53 Vette thing.. The 62 vette thing is not quite as bad. These cars are answers to questions that nobody asked.

Anybody remember the Pirhana?

There was a company in the Redford, MI area back in the late 80's / early 90's doing its thing to the "five oh..." Mustangs - calling it the Pirhana. It is said that "beauty is in the eye of the beer holder", and this "ahem - um, styling exercise" most definitely reminds of those freaked out fugly things...

rwhite692 12-01-2004 10:07 AM

That looks like what would happen in the movie "The Matrix" if an AC Cobra was rear-ended by an '02 Mustang at a stoplight...

I can speak from experience that it is alot easier to bring an old car up to today's standards than it is to take a new car back to yesterday's styling! I applaud the effort to think outside the box, but with few exceptions, I agree with Lillard that nobody's pulled it off flawlessly - yet! Certain classic styling cues will just never be duplicated.
