Super Bowl XLIX
Wow was that not the craziest ending to a Super Bowl you have ever seen?? Just crazy!!

No --- It was THE STUPIDEST PLAY CALL IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL that lost the game. |

I agree. Bad play call. Obviously with Lynch they score and run clock, or fake Lynch and run Wilson. Seattle fans must be sick.
|
That call made me think I was watching Oregon 15-20 years ago. :sieg:

Katie Perry is way hot.

Didn't deserve to even be on the 5 yard line anyway after that ridiculous lucky 1 in a million catch with the dude laying on the ground.
Love it when things even out like that. :D |
We all do, which is why deflate gate isn't going away

Was awesome!! The only thing better would've been if they tied and both of them lost, like a tie! LoL! :hello:
But, I don't like either of them so it's a moot point to me. I'm just glad "my team" beat both of them, and one REALLY BAD!:lmao: |

One of the best Super Bowls I've seen in a long time regardless of who was playing. That's how a Super Bowl should be.
Pats were very successful through 3 quarters except for a few long completions, especially that insane one to put them on the 5. They could have done better to constrain Lynch but no one else has either. The guy is on another level. Carroll over-thought that play and tried to be cute and he paid for it. If Butler hadn't picked it off and they scored, Carroll would have been called a genius because he outsmarted Belichick. Getting another 16" of snow here and have a gigantic smile on my face. Go Pats! That was awesome....I won't have a voice for a few days but I don't mind. |
Most of the Commercials were lame!

Not sure what all the hype is about. It wasn't a bad call, it was just poorly executed coupled with an exceptional play by the defensive back. This past season there were 109 passes thrown from the one yard line, 67 went for a touchdown, 46 were incomplete and only one interception which was Russel Wilson's in the Superbowl.
In contrast there were 223 runs from the one yard line, 130 rushes scored a touchdown while 93 rushes failed to score. That means that 61% of passes from the one yard line resulted in a touchdown while on 58% of runs resulted in a touchdown. I look at it as more of a team sport. If the so called "Legion of Boom" lived up to their own hype of being the greatest secondary in NFL history, they wouldn't have given up 320+ yards passing and 4 touchdown passes to Tom Brady. |

I dont like either the Seahawks or the Patriots, but glad the Pats won, they were the better team and got there by playing well.
Seattle had been catching break after lucky break on their way to the Superbowl. Who calls a slant to the slot receiver against a jam packed goal line defensive box? They had Lynch who had been dragging patriots left and right, and that tall wideout Matthews jumping over every patriot CB to me it should have been the Packers or the Cowboys vs Pats, but thats a shoulda woulda coulda type thing |
