64 Falcon @ Dick's Hot Rod Shop MN
10 Attachment(s)
I have been working on this project on nights and weekends for a couple of months and figured it was time to start a thread. It will be built for autocross and track days. if there are any questions feel free to ask. I manage Dick's Hot Rod Shop in MN and that is where I am building it. It will be a car that will represent our shop at the events we attend.

Looks great Brandon! Front crossmember and LCA's look really good and the truck arm rear...I'll be watching this one!
 What kind of ends are on the axle? |
Nice work!!
Gotta love a nice T/A build. Tuneable. Functional. Simple.....
Holy cow you're build is similar to mine. Except for the part where you know what you're doing and I don't lol. Love the post cars.

You have a lot of nice looking part. Going to be sweet!
Nice work! Way to include all the NASCAR type pieces...that stuff can be had for pennies on the dollar if you can make it work for your application like you have.

this is awesome!

Very cool and awesome fab work.

Thank you for choosing a Falcon to represent your shop--this one is definitely pinning the awesomeness meter!
This is pretty badass. Thanks for sharing the build with us and welcome to the site!
Subscribed for ideas. I have a 64 to work on as well.
Brandon, were you the one driving the DHRS truck at the CC Summer Nationals and Des Moines GG shows the past couple summers? A lot of great fab work on that truck and this car.

the 56 f100 I still own and the 51 chevy was an employees truck that the two of us built.the 51 was sold over the winter and went to california. I won the Des Moines GG truck class last year in the 51. Thanks for the compliments. https://i1.ytimg.com/vi/Kga4sJnynVY/hqdefault.jpg http://i.ytimg.com/vi/8NADt0vwKEE/maxresdefault.jpg |
Hey Brandon how's that falcon coming along?
I like that you're making all your own suspension parts instead of just bolting stuff on. Even making spindles. That's something I would like to do but have not yet found the right snouts/pins. What type of wheels would you be using with GN hubs?
Great fabrication on this car. Making it look so simple. I have big dreams to do something similar to my truck. Looking forward to your project.
this is sick!
Any updates on this? I thought I'd seen some Mike Maier Inc. suspension goodies going on in the back....whats the word?
